This is just so amazing. Who cares whether it is real tango or not. It has the character of a tango and it is so emotional. Is there a tear in her eye at the end?
Blechh. Typical ballroom stuff: overblown, stylized, stiff, and false. Way to totally miss the point of real tango. By the way, Piazzolla, despite his heritage, is not tango music. You can like it or dislike it, but it's not tango.
I can agree with you on it being stylized and overblown, at least in compared to "the original Argentine Tango", but by no means is it false. Just because we have a clear technique and vision we want to follow does not make the story or emotion or whatever you want to call it faked. Dislike it or like it, but that's the way it is.
This is the best interpretation of this song ever seen, they are so emotional and in touch with what this composer wanted to say with this music, intensity, clarity of intention, no pretence or affectation so often seen in balroom dancers generally, everyone should learn from this. love it!
I've seen you comment her in the same way in other videos and this just makes my conclusion stronger: You're shallow, jealous and know absolutely nothing about dancing.

The music is a Piazzola tango, but the dance is surely a ballroom rumba, (not a rhumba)

I thought it is an Argentine tango! =8*)

Yup, it's a ballroom rumba which has taken a lot of elements from the Argentine tango.
