I am not not impressed with the Illamasqua shadows. They just do'nt seem to have the great pigmentation as mufe or even MAC shadows.

@MakeupbyTrish they do if you prime your eyes properly, i prime my eyes then set them with a translucent powder, you'll be surprised how much better a matte eyeshadow pays off and doesn't crease when you take time to do your base.

I love to watch u put your make up on..its fun...and i like the illimasqua products...however.. i wasn't crazy about the lashes at the bottom..Not that i don't appreciate the look for what it is..I just didn't like the actual lashes..-they looked creepy..but that's just M.O...

Another note..

Wondering where u got the fluffy brush u use..? thought at first it was mac..but now i'm wondering..lol..

Its a HIGH FASHION look editorial could be clean .... editorial just means the type of pose that the model has and the way the photographer shoots the image it has NOTHING to do with makeup... just look at vogue its not always high fashion makeup! but i do love the look!!

Actually editorial can be referring to makeup, usually more of an avant garde style of makeup used for fashion spreads in magazines.

@calisangel75 an editorial can also be a sort of story, and the makeup is a key point, it's like saying it's not about the hair either. The hair, clothes, makeup, and photography is what makes the image, without one the others would be crap.

I checked out the illamasqua site...I'm pretty impressed with the range of product, but the variety of colors is really their downfall.

especially in their eyeshadows and lipsticks.

2 metallic lips. that a basically two golds??? what about copper silver, rust?

They are different, the OCC ones are totally opaque, the Intense Lipglosses are opaque but not 100% they are just different :)
