Hi Peter I saw you casting and you're great, but very unique style, very personal and interesting, only you can do those movements... don't expect others will do the same thing with same result... we competed toghether in Usa Comp... Bye bye, great.
Your Fuck all Peter Hayes, the real Peter Hayes would of least caught something even in the park. Your noth'n but a try hard, fucken change ya name cunt because you are lame arses of all the Peter hayes that walk the earth
@sergio1300 Not quite, notice that his haul ends well above the horizontal. The loop is formed at that point, not where the rod ends up. He lets the rod drift back downwards after the haul so that he can elevate the trajectory of his forward cast, so that the line can fly longer on the delivery cast.
@door2yourheart No, but have you watched slow motion video of loops being formed? Watch this: youtube.com/watch?v=_1IUaDgEvR8 or this: youtube.com/watch?v=UA3UDg51PW4
Peter is very well respected in oz. However, there is a huge difference between casting in a park and trying to do it in the water. I don't know of anyone who can cast a full line under proper fishing conditions. (and we're talking a proper saltwater line of 120ft, not the cheats trouty line of 80ft).
If you have ever watched him do a perfect imitation of your own cast, and then showed you how to fix it, you'd understand why he is as respected as he is. Excellent caster, brilliant teacher and great bloke.
Is this a piss take? Is he trying to show how not to cast? am i missing something? watch this and then watch Lefty Kreh's casting videos.

Aim for the Koala, its amazing what you can do without a fly on the end of the line.

Some interesting poses and choreography going on!
I noticed that as the student was casting, the line was actually flying past him at waist height!

And he teaches?
Throws his mistakes fast and far - great!
IMHO his student has a better technique, and both could be better.
2 casts when he pretended to be fishing were passable.
Still he is just a new comer after all - maybe in time he will get better at it (casting and teaching).
He doesn't even stand on balance and loses balance on his delivery cast.
There are better casting instructors in Oz IMHO
