I'd say do what you feel you have to. I also have the same situation, re-creating older things I made, only mine are Pokemon Fan-Fics whereas yours are Pokemon Abridged shows. Remakes of old episodes would be incredible. Would it be possible to keep all of the music you used in the vids or would they have to be left out? I loved all of the random songs, namely "Crazy Sunshine" and that ALI PROJECT song I can't remember the name of right now. All of those tracks were awesome picks.

I'd definitely like to see some of your older vids with better quality up, but what'd really be awesome would be to see the Pokemon First Movie dub back up. That was epically funny, and I haven't seen it since they took down that Philos guy's account (he had done a pretty good job of restoring your older vids, by the way). Also, out of curiosity, are you going to be making any new episodes, or are you pretty much just focused on remaking the older ones? Also, do you still have the old scripts?

Naturally, you should do what you want to with the series, but I think it's a great idea to remake them. Not necessarily rewrite them much, but using it as an opportunity to reconnect with what you were trying to do at the time. If I can come with one other suggestion for future episodes, it would be to skip over some of the more pointless episodes of the show, so that you actually have a chance of making it through some of the seasons, but like I said, you should do what you think feels right.

Elaborate on "adding a few things" and we may have a deal. What I mean is CaptAwesome, tell us what these few things would be using specifics. Give examples using episode one or two, and explain, "I was thinking of adding such and such here and then using this similar feature in other episodes." Other then that, remakes are always a nice touch but ONLY if they retain their nostalgic value. That value being jokes, in this case.

I seemed like in your newest episode, Ash's voice is different than what he sounds like in your old episodes. Did you purposely change the character's voice? And also don't re-do the old ones. They are fine!

nah, just keep going with the series. Just keep a link on your page or something where people can see the old ones. Personally I think it's kind of silly to have 2 versions that will be probably be pretty much the same thing. The only way I see this being a good thing is if your new versions were just WAAY funnier, which would be pretty flippin hard, considering how good the old ones were.

Well I think remaking the old episodes would be faster to do than starting new ones from scratch. Since you're busy with school and whatnot, that might be a really nice option.

Dude, if you feel feel nervous putting up old episodes, then chances are if you don't remaster the series you'll feel pretty down on it later on. Remake them, avoid that self criticism! And hey, us youtubers will enjoy it too. :)
