311 day is the baddest concert! the first year i was so tanked i passed out in the middle of the concert in new orleans, woke up, and they were still playing. played over 4 hours easy. if you haven't been and you're a 311 fan, it's a must. they put on the best concerts.

Yeah, some other bands are pretty good, but 311 just plain rocks. Even after what, 20 years or so they're still together, rocking and changing like they started out.

Its hard to believe Nick's already 40 years old (I'm 13, so to me that's fairly far off). Not that he's old, but its funny to hear songs from when they started out. Still just as badass as in 1990

When I first heard this song I wasn't too fond of it.. Like a couple of other songs on the new album, I found it to be written for a younger audience... Around early to mid teenagers, but like all 311 songs you have to give them time to grow on you.. Even though I still find it lyrically for the young, I was that age listening to 311 10 years ago, and I find this song throws me back in that period of my life.. I love it now

I think 311 is always progressing and switching it up! Their albums are always very different so i think being a fan it's great but takes time to sink in a lil, eventually atleast with me, i end up liking everything. They always stick to the reggae roots and rhythm and have always had the great tone that only 311 can put out! Daisy cutter is the track i have on repeat the most right now!! Uplifter for warm summer nights!!

Transistor is probably the most understood album by 311. I was talking with a friend of mine about it recently and I've found that many fans don't really like transistor at all.

It's meant to be an experimental album, more akin to Pink Floyd than anything else - at least I think so.

It was written a certain time and place and it reflects that. You really can't compare the albums... 14 years of playing music is going to change your style and your ability.
