@anjelishot, the last I heard, they gave her the role, but she wanted to sing in her own voice instrad of lip-synching Judy's recordings. The dispute had not yet been resolved!

P.S. Anne did a sketch on Saturday Night Live in November of 2010 which spoofed "The Wizard of OZ." They dressed Anne up in the same color dress that Dorothy (Judy) wore in the movie and the resemblance was shocking. She looked like Judy and in that outfit she could pass for a 14 year old.

That was a great moment at the end, especially seeing Kevin Kline, Robert DeNiro, Stanley Tucci, Anne, Emily Blunt, Philip Seymour Hoffman and others toasting her at the end, that was awesome!
