Wonder how ai is compared to Arma 2. When you play capture the island in Arma 2 it some times feels like you are playing a sub game. The uber ai spots stuff you have no chance to see and you just give the order unit, attack, tank, or similar.
Mostly, and def in air, you make kills far outside your view range( how far stuff renders ingame) which is kinda silly.
When I see what first person looks like in OPF 2 is say this looks more like Ghost recon with vehicles. And I can say for sure that Arma 2 would be the better game to carry the name OFP2 and not his clone wannabe.
My point is that this game looks pretty cool and I'll probably buy it as well but bashing on a project like ARMA 2 is just retarded if you like the genre as a whole, especially if you were to work in the industry.Part of Arma's charm is their approach on reality and when I see this AI in this clip firing and missing all over the place lighting up the skies with unrealistic tracers I say, this is not the same genre.
LOL, its funny, cuz OFP DR FAiled badly than arma 2. I know u made this comment a month ago so im not blaming you for that. I mean me and my friend was looking forward to this but it just fail badly on physics,multi player and game content. Its disappointing. but thats is just my opinion
Yeah i agree with you, it didn't turn out half as good as the developers said, and the whole game is very limited, i mean, you cant even modify your kit-loadout when starting a mission.
This game looks pretty cool scripted like this. I saw some 1st person view gameplay and it looked like another BF/CS/COD. This is not OFP 2. Arma 2 is OFP 2. This is CS 2.

I HAVE played the game! i´m a graphic ingineer in sweden so i was at E3.. a complicated game?? it's not complicated anywhere.. the problem isn't to stay alive, the problem is that when you have a mission, lets say to meet up somebody at a LZ, that person might not even be there, or even if it is, it might not respond... so, to be able to actually finish the game... you'll just be have to restart the entire level, or even the game. Is that even acceptabl to anyone who buy this game??
Anyway, if you would be a graph engineer you would not speak in such a way about developers when you see the scale of this game and what it implies for future warsims.Lying doesn't make your point you know. If you were a programmer in any way you would realise that there is more then a SP campaign to judge a game on.Maybe you ever heard about multiplayer or the editor or the many other things to do in ARMA 2?I haven't even touched the SP campaign.
are u angry in some weird way? we are talking about a game here, not politics. Sure, I understand the scale of the environment, the battles that can be fought, the amount of units and AI. But they built a graphic ingine that just.. to put it in a real perspective, sucks. They could have done it alot more playable for others, than just a simulator which demands a computer power that only a few has. Arma 2 was a faliure if you compare it to OF2, just because of the bugs.

The game has too many problems imo.
