  • there's no place like home.....wherever you'll go, there's a place that always there to accept you :)

  • This track has sprayed the nostalgia firehose all over me.

  • People are commenting that Domina is a very joyful place. I thought however this music was kind of mournful. Love this game so much.

  • @cc4rtwright The amount of troubles that one faces in the Domina makes it perfect for the tune used as its background, besides you would not believe how certain types of instrument inflict in a song, A G minor chord sounds kinda sad in a piano or a violin, but in say trumpets! it sounds cheerfull, (Based upon the fact that most sad sounds are made from Minor chords, and most cheerful sounds come from Major Chords)

  • I'm dying of nostalgia

  • i love legend of mana ps 1 i'm so happy :) no gameshark ^ ^

  • Domina. The very first location you unlock in the game and the most memorable with an equally memorable tune. 2 sprouts fell prey to the Mana goddess. Idk, I think this track would be a nice backdrop for Ponyville IMO.

  • Sproutling - "I'm a sproutling."

Niccolo - "Scum of the earth!"

    Me - :(

  • Suddenly i remember that fortune-telling girl *spin-spin-spin*

  • Best BGM Ever..!

  • ahh memories memories, i remember i got stuck trying to find out where to go and checked all of dominia, i got so annoyed of the soundtrack at the time. now it's just :D

  • ah man, just downloaded this, haven't played it in 10+ years. Nostalgia is lovely

  • 2 people never made it to Domina

  • I have recently downloaded this wonderful game on the Playstation Network for the PS3 and I wish I have played this game a long time ago when this game was new. ;__; Back then, I have owned a Nintendo 64 and not a PlayStation. For the gamers that have played this game back then, you are all awesome. :3 One of the cool games that I actually remember watching that was for the PS was Wild Arms, Resident Evil 3 and Breath of Fire. Secret of Mana was also a great game for the Super Nintendo. :D

  • Domina is that joyfull town you want to spend a day in, no matter what.

  • @TheGunNRose Try life in.

  • domina town is very peaceful

  • @TheShadowStealth That is, until you meet the pumkin kids and "Yourself."

  • I'have always remenbered this song , and i never saw it anywhere i am very happy in founding this on youtube, its remenbers me alot when i played this game

    nolstagic feeling =(

  • I dont understand why they didn't make this in 3d with the kingdom hearts fighting engine and more customizable main characters 4 players and online play where you can travel to places not included on the game disc that would be beast. I think I'll write square enix

  • @lfish87 legend of mana 3D? we can only hope...

  • @finalfantasy50 It would be better in HD 2D with no gameplay changes, IMHO. Well, maybe except for a pair of three new quests :D

  • @Karv3r The gameplay wouldnt changed, just graphicly improved with 3d sprites and stuff.

Dont know if they will release it though :P

  • Ah, this song bring back such fond memories when I could completely lose myself in a game. Had a compelling drive that far exceeded graphics. Amazing game, I'll never forget these soundtracks.

  • ahhhh good times....i remember the rabbit will not come with you if you have the other swordsman in your party...LOL good time...good times.

  • I never played this game enough, but it's nigh impossible to forget this song.

  • Whoever disliked this video has no soul

  • ooh lovee this song...thanks for uploaded this!!!

  • Songs that are nostalgic even though you've never heard them before:

    That's true art in music!

*The song was filled with nostalgia the very first time I played the game!*

  • @Minimin22 That´s its the magic of a well composed and orchestrated piece.

  • ....Oh. My. God. I cannot forgive myself for forgetting this game. I never really thought about the game's music but this definitely takes me way back. Screw this I'm buying this for my PS3 and playing it all day. ;-; Words cannot express how I love this game.

  • If you got all the side quests the 1st time without the gameguide, or any professional help, you are genious.

  • I'm happy that a 23 year old man like me still can play great games like Legend of Mana ^^.

  • @retsuka9999 You make it sound like 23 is so old. I'm 21. -_-

I'm quite happy too though for the same reason. :)

  • i used to play legend of mana just to hear this song and now i can hear it again and again! ah~ good times... good times~

  • this was the second town if im not mistaken.. from that moment, i know, this game is gonna be superb.. what a beautiful game! Just beautiful! for me, it was a big success related to its time and technology.. ouww~ precious memory..

  • @heartisvoice This was the first town, but the second place you visited in the game. But yes this was an awesome game

  • Ah, this bring some good memories back. I think I will play again this game. The musics are fantastic, the design of de game is so beautiful and the Jumi history really made me cry.

  • @ArmeriaCross Are you Brazilian?

  • @dss103 yes, why? My english is too bad? hahaha xD

  • @ArmeriaCross lol I don't know why, I just pictured a soccer player who has good Muay Thai when I read how you typed XD

  • @dss103 well... no xD actually I'm just a normal girl who don't have any muay thai skills. I think I have to change the way I type. hahaha :)

  • Elazul <3

  • I am pretty sure i heard this when i watched "a christmas charol" live, they were in town and they had the same toon... so many amazing memories came flooding back.. Thank you Square Enix

  • I remembered in the past when I was young, after watching horror movies/shows , I would play this game and head over to this town to listen to this music to make me forget about those horrific films..... :'(

How I miss the old days >_<~

  • good times once i had an exam i was singing it

  • *rejoice* another busy day in Domina...ah memories...

  • This game has the most well thought out gameplay besides Chrono Trigger. It's amazing. Plus the nature surrounding this series is so beautiful. :)

  • I have never played the Mana series, but this is quickly ousting all of my other favorite video game soundtracks. Excellent.

  • this soundtrack bring me back a lot memories and "heal" my heart...XD

  • 最初の町ですね。

    癒されます

  • I used to be so obsessed with this game! This is one of my fav soundtrack!

  • Ah.. memories, I was ten when playing this game with my friend

I wish game developer create game like this again. About a real enjoyment of the game, not just thrilling action or horror.

Thanks for uploading this song :)

  • Nobuo is the one who composed the music from the FF games until XIII...

Yoko Shimomura is the one who made the music from LoM, KH, Super Mario Galaxy and more.

  • @Nomerico She had nothing to do with either Super Mario Galaxy game. However, she did do the music for Super Mario RPG and the Mario & Luigi games.

  • this music sounds familiar from somewhere, FF?

  • Ah, hearing this again makes me want to play LoM soooo bad. Too bad my disc has some tiny scratch on it, which causes it to freeze upon the first loading screen. ://///////////

  • I don't like the gameplay of LoM. But, god, what a wonderful soundtrack!

  • I feel like I'm in heaven when I listen to this....

    so nostalgic....

i miss my PS... if only it didn't blew up like it intended to...

    T_T

  • I CAN LISTEN TO THIS SONG ALL DAY AND NIGHT WHEN I GO TO SLEEP.....quite a soothing melody indeed!

  • It is one of the best Game I ever played on 1999' the 2D graphics, the background, the flow of the story, the originality of the music was just perfect! I was just 7yrs old when I play this Game, I learn alot of things about this game, thanks for uploading this music video.

  • Aww. So many memories. <3

  • The lyrics for the last 3 parts of the song (before it repeats)

    I'd real-ly love to stay,

But I'd best be on my way,

So with that I will bid you good-day.

  • Love this song...always been the thing I hum in my head or out loud to concentrate better or get something out of my head. I miss that game so much

  • damn i can cry everytime i listen to this song...

  • i actually never played legend of mana, but this is for sure the best game song composed ever!!

  • After thinking a hundred times when I first heard this song in the game......... I suddenly remembered that this song was played during my younger classmate's birthday party. When I asked her, she said that it was her brother who played the song and when I saw her brother, I was like, KYAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

    ♥_♥

    He's got an elazul hairstyle!!!

  • romhustler net go to this site to download.. T.T i admire this song, usd it to hummng~

  • where can i download the game at, ive been searching forever but cant find it,

i used to own the game and loved it, now its gone and i dont wanna pay 160 for a new one

  • @Doritognawler Use an emulator and download the game in emuparadise

  • Ah memories when games weren't all about graphics but music and gameplay...

  • Although, you must admit the graphics were still amazing, the attention to detail...so beautiful.

  • @Tomoya789 and Story

  • @Tomoya789 Too True! <3

  • @Tomoya789 Not just music, but atmosphere. Games today can still have good music, but a lot of them just lack that magical atmosphere that games like Legend of Mana had. That kind of atmosphere that just makes you want to experience more and more of the world, and explore every little nook and cranny.

  • @Tomoya789 True, indeed true, but I would also say this game's graphics is timeless and surpass technical limitations. Ahh memories...

  • @Tomoya789 Except this game had beautiful graphics.

  • @Tomoya789 I actually liked Legend of Mana's graphic it's very artistic and creative :D

  • @Tomoya789 :')

  • fist time i played... i was 7 i asked a friend if i can borrow it and he gave it to me.... i played and played then i stopped cuz a friking glicht i get so mad i just trowed the disc away then 3 years later i found it! and it was all covered with some virgin oil (the one that uses the catholic churchs) then 4 months downloaded and played it on a emulator on my cpu ^^

btw: i downloaded it by accident xD (it was ment to be! hahaha)

  • oh man..waves of nostalgia came rushing in...i believe i was in my elementary school when i played this, waiting for saturday and sunday cuz those were the two days i can play games! plus holiday of course...sigh..

  • Aw, I'm happy for Hjobbo. :)

  • i hated this song but listening to it again made me love it so much

  • Comment removed

  • Beautiful song, but this is one of those types of songs that sound the best in the town.

That being said, I love the violin solo part!

  • This is one of the best soundtracks from LoM XD I am so happy that you have put all these up! Thank you so much, you have made my face of stone crack up in a smile ^^

  • I'm glad I could do that. :)

  • hey do have the song when you get in to the first cave in the game??? when "The lost princess" quest begins?

  • AAAHHHH this game is really good! wish they make games like this now. and this song is my fav in the game too

  • I used to play this. it was like i was 6 years old?

This was one of my Favorite PS1 Games ever!

The thing that I hated here, after beating the FINAL Boss, my CD stuck-uped.

    :(

But i still miss it :)

  • Oh, how I remember playing this when I was very young! It truly sparked my interest in RPGs back then. I want to play it again, but the controller is now broken, sadly. :<

  • I wanna be a game programmer... I'll make an RPG somewhat similar with this.

    LoM, a sickly sweet RPG~~!

    such good memories...

  • i dnt know y...I lyk this song very much... XD

  • Yet another reason to love Yoko Shimomura's exellent compositions.

  • UH OH! This is instant nostalgia for anybody who played this game. i dont care who u are, its nostalgia the second u heard this song again!

  • I love this song!!!!!

  • ops i mean "...but of course there are good rpgs today" sorry i pressed the enter button xD

  • it brings good memories from the good old days =D man,RPG games used to be so much better back in 1990~2000, now theyre just a bunch of guys with messy hair swingin swords. :P

  • so true .. old RPG are so much better and the music is awesome !!

  • yeah, soundtracks back in that times whre way better, but of course there are good

  • I gonna buy this soundtrack this week holpfully, I just love this music!

  • :'-)

    So much WIN!

  • i know, right?

  • it does have a "meeting a female genie" feel to it. the song gets annoying when you play the game though. 5 stars

  • i duno if i would cry from happiness as saiitham describes, but it's definitely a great song lol.

  • Has a "meeting a female genie" feel to it.
