These were, to me, the best playoffs in years - a several extremely exiting finals: Rangers-Capitals, Hurricanes-Devils, Penguins-Capitals, Bruins-Hurricanes, Ducks-Red Wings and the Stanley cup final Penguins-Red Wings was extremely exiting.

As a Pens fan, I have a lot of respect for Ovie and the Caps, they played a hell of a series. I think that Ovie just needs a little bit of a better supporting cast, or a more well polished one atleast, and they should be able to make a deep run in the playoffs soon. All the goalie troubles the Caps had this year certainly didn't help in the long run either, though Varly is certainly going to be a much better goalie in the years to come, and that's scary.

What a great series. I can't think of any game that is as hard hitting, as fast, as skillful, as emotional and as exciting to watch as hockey. I know it's not for everyone but for me nothing compares. A player has to be able to make a 30 foot pass onto a few inches of black tape knowing he's about to get slammed into the boards by the other team. That takes skill and balls. Congrats to both teams for a good, exciting series.
