This is not the first portable 'Berlin Wall' as claimed, Lothian and Borders police were using something similar outside Tynecastle Stadium 2 and a half years ago and Northumbria Police have used a portable wall at Sunderland Stadium of Light in January and August last year
I know this is going to be hard to believe, but I promise you it's 100% true, the price of Gold is controlled by a computer program, not by the free market of buying and selling. So what does this mean to you? Google “Gold Trading Academy” to learn more.
Since 1999, 70 million Falun Gong adherents have been brutally persecuted by their own government, the Chinese Communist Party in China. For simply doing five exercises for health and being a good person, their own government jails, tortures, rapes and even kills them illegally. It's estimated that at least half of all inmates in forced labor camps in China are Falun Gong practitioners. The media rarely covers this persecution due to pressure from the Chinese government.
How about these assholes build the wall just outside of the their police detachments and never walk behind it? Scumbags do not want to look us in the eyes?
how the fuck can this be called a "Berlin Wall"...its NOT..its a fucking stainless steel type cordon thats been erected in LONDON to protect the fascist oligarchy from the baying crowds......stop making parallels to the past..this is NOW....over dramatization wont incite anymore discontent than there already is.....its fucked up and its here...lets move forward!...through the bloody thing!
Nice idea. Maybe it'll stop all the businesses that support this country from getting ransacked next time some people decide to cause a riot for the hell of it (Because the troublemakers had nothing to do with the protest)
"All alone or in twos, the ones who really love you walk up and down outside the wall. Some hand-in-hand, some gathered together in bands, the bleeding hearts and the artists make their stand. And when they've given you their all some stagger and fall, after all it's not easy. Banging your heart against some mad bugger's wall."
This is not a first-ever. The police used these kind of walls in our country (then-Czechoslovakia), when they tried to stop protests against the communist regime during the Velvet revolution in 1989.
Those walls are not going to hold up, as time goes on more and more people will become restless with the economy. If the government thinks they can just build a few of those walls and solve there problems, they will have a big surprise on there hands.
wow. @antigovernment us poor slugs in the usa are nipping at your heels in terms of a police state, but this is pretty insane. all to stop a peaceful protest. what a crazy govern-mental world we live in.
A suspicious person might conclude that the August riots were somewhat orchestrated to allow for public opinion to accept measures like this. Suspicious people might also expect that when the Euro and Dollar collapse (as is expected) there will be massive civil unrest and those in authority would have to take drastic measures. It's a good thing I'm not a suspicious person (much)
@holmesw25 I suppose the good thing about this Berlin Wall is that it can be electrified if need be - unlike the East German one which was made with brick & mortar and required separate electrification.
"But the cops are part of the 99%. They're working class like you or me!"
I don't know if you get these sentiments in England, but in the US, the 99%ters are rife with this misunderstanding. Police don't serve the public, they maintain order of the state, which as you know is in bed with capitalism.
No cops, no politicians. We can take care of our own neighborhoods and we can organize ourselves. America won't be able to live in their dreamland for much longer.
I saw this on the march, not just this wall, but there was a MASSIVE police presence in London that day, I've never been on a march where I've seen so many police. What was even more bizarre was that the march was totally peaceful, every officer I spoke to that day was very friendly and a lot of them said that if they weren't on duty, they'd have been in the march. The contrast between their presence and their attitude was fascinating, got to wonder about the people giving them their orders...
It's in Trafalgar Square, since the camera pans up to show Nelson's Column. The National Gallery is behind the "Police Cordon" (gotta love the Doublespeak).
Even my right wing Step Father thinks the leaders of the "FREE WORLD" have all Kowtowed to the fascist elite, and that things look more and more like a Police state and government for the corporate elite every passing day. Sad. This is why I continue to support Occupiers everywhere.
@mrgeebaby86 Soon it will be half life 2 if no one acts(and i don't mean fight against the police. There are many ways to solve a problem..always!)Since they control the videogame industry as well, they prepared the people through games, media, movies, etc years ago.Even their movies after years become reality...coincidence?
@Bamagiotis yes coincidence, the government does not control the games industry, the government has been trying to prevent games from being released and/or to censor some games. I agree that something needs to be done about the current system and we seem to be sleep walking into something nasty. I fail to believe George Orwell was writing for the government when he wrote 1984, that is of similar effect.
@mrgeebaby86 i never wrote that the government controls the gaming industry..you do know that the government is controlled by others just like many other countries,so if others control the government can control anything else! And the censor thing reminds me of the war on drugs.
@mrgeebaby86 when you do trying to make someone not to do something,he wants this even more but first you have to show it,to get him addicted to it and then take it back with something called ''for your protection - your safety - etc'' or the law for examle.
No Razor Wire on top? Maybe we protesters ought to devise a mob-control device that spews vast volumes of consciousness-raising smoke (marijuana or hashish) into the battlefield and over the tops of these new walls. Before I built a wall I'd ask to know/ What I was walling in or walling out,/ And to whom I was like to give offense. They cannot wall out an idea.
sometimes you think i like to in that film. This images resembles V for Vendetta a film that a dont what to experience and this video ist just like this........What a great country. Shame on them
