The falcon isn't evil or cold blooded, it just needs to survive. You wouldn't expect to watch a documentary on lions & see the camera man run in to save the lion's prey? It's not always pleasant to watch, but that's nature.

The crow is a big and tough bird for a falcon that size so it took ages to kill it which is a shame but that's nature and the falcon worked damned hard for that meal and risked injury to itself which would have meant a slow lingering death for it if it couldn't hunt.
