The Lesser Banishing Ritual that I use, uses Archangelic names in each quarter not god-names. God-names are only used in the Greater Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram as this is a more powerful ritual.

I also practice Witchcraft and use the quarter calls during the circle casting process. Interesting to see the two combined.

Yes, :-) You're right. I sort of improvised. This is actually two rituals in one. I invoke the four winds before closing the ritual. (A.M. invoke/P.M. Banish). I'm sure Crowley would cringe, but it works for me. I know that traditionally there are lots of other subtle parts added to the ritual. But to me, all the rest is icing on the cake. The God names, invoking the angels, the circle of banishing pentagrams, and the hexagram above and below, are the "meat" of the ritual. Thanks :-)

Excellent video. I'm currently studying Modern Magick by Donald Kraig but it's always nice to have some sort of visual aid like this. I must ask, what personal benefit have you achieved by doing the LBRP?

Hi. The ritual strengthens your auric field. The pentagrams stay around you as you go about your day, especially if you visualize them and put energy into them as you do the ritual. These pentagrams are actually visually seen in the astral realms. They serve as a barrier, protecting you from negative energies and negative entities throughout the day. They see it. That's why the banishing pentagram is used. It helps to do this ritual when you wake up and before going to sleep at night. :-) Rob
