@BubbleGumee1 Have you heard him sing it live? Greyson sounds better live than in the studio for the most part. That is where the power of his voice really shines and while he can't hold that last note quite as long as Dan Layus there are videos of him holding it for 10 or 11 seconds which for a 13 year old with no vocal training is quite impressive.

the sad reality is for now greyson's talent is gonna have to be focused at teen girls who eat this kind of studio massacre up. they love this over-produced, needlessly altered shit up. greyson sitting @ a piano showing his real talent is not gonna sell enough records because the teen girls need club dance songs and studio pop ho hum songs to fill their ipods with. maybe when greyson is older he will be able to appeal to an older audience who will support greyson just sitting @ a piano.

@jelpesdaturtle Fire is actually my favorite studio release so far and I think it does the best to capture the strength of his voice. It took a while to grow on me, but I've come to like the full band version almost as much as the solo piano. He doesn't sound terrible in the studio, but like all artists who are really good live there is something missing when the performances are "sterilized" because the character/passion/uniqueness that makes him so great gets lost in the production.
