This is a really cute idea that I've seen done before, but they do it on such a large scale it looks like someone stole it off of a window! This is so tiny and cute- I want one!
P.S. You said you couldn't sell the stuff you make but I think you could totally sell these. A ribbon here, some paint there and you'd be good to go! =D
@BeyondBracelets I do these for fun, I had a frame, had leftover wire from a repair in the patio and voila. I recalled my mom in the 80's doing one from chicken wire and some sticks (yeah back then you did not buy frames) so that is where the thought of a smaller version came from. Regarding selling anything, I would not have the time, just tooo busy with work. I am an engineer after all and this is a hobby :) that I really love.
@JennifersDope the metal mesh was bought at the hardware store, when they were repairing our patio :) and it was very cheap, don't recall the exact price but it was around 8 dollars and what was left over I kept. The frame was a throw-away :) so both things are recycled :) (rescued from being garbage)
@Mia673 well I will be doing crafts for teens and kids, I am not forgetting the kids LOL. And I am glad you like :) With teens you never know either they really really really hate it or they love it! So I am glad you like this one.
I made one using an old frame and a crochet doily. I think a piece of recycled lace would work too
