  • Heavenly in its hurtfulness.

  • Magistral...!!!!!

  • What a breauty!

  • So emotional, so refined, like all his work. Yet, he still manages to capture that overtly Russian feeling that "unique" fails to describe.

  • I'm fascinated by this piece. Tchaikovsky is pure brilliance.

  • i think the next generation of people will have prodigies such as this

  • Why isn't there anyone who makes such wonderful musical pieces now-a-days?! We're slacking.

  • @leholmes19 it's true, the age of true music is gone..

  • @danielwills93 nonsense

  • nostalgia...you're always in my heart...

  • great

  • Anyone else reminded of Yiddish music in this piece?

    I am, as a Jew, anyway...but regardless:

BEAUTIFUL, I think Tchaikovsky may very well have been the best composer for the violin ever...

Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, all great composers have certain instruments that seem especially potent in their music--Tchaikovsky seems dominant in violin instrumentation, and utilizing it to express SUCH DEEP EMOTION AND POWER! :D

  • @obiwanobiwan13 Being from Central/Eastern Europe myself of Ashkenazi and Sephardi Jewish origins mixed with all that melange of cultures found in that area, this reminds me of Central European music (this includes Yiddish, Hungarian, Czech, etc).

  • absolutely great!

  • I´ve never heard a melody like this before!

  • the violins sounds like his mustache...

  • I love this song so much!! I swear theyve used this in a movie? I know there are probably many where it has been used but something about it rings a bell, something like the corpse bride seems so familiar!

  • So different from many valses through its melody line, rhythm, violin "crying" and singing. Very expressive ad impressive. I discovered this a few months ago and it became a reference piece of classical music when I need to get relaxed, from time to time.

I will share with friends as they will for sure love it.

  • this is such an amazing piece!

  • this song takes me to that special place

  • wow.... it's so beautiful............ i am a ballet dancer, and every time i dance on this melody it takes my heart away somewhere beyond and these are my best dances.....................

  • The victory of the human culture

  • TCHAIKOVSKY - VALSE SENTIMENTALE, the last of his Six morceaux (Six Pieces), for piano, Op. 51, was composed in 1882, during a very difficult period in the composer's life. From the late 1870s until 1885, the composer felt restless, somewhat disoriented, and unsure of his creative powers. Molto Bello!!! Thank you for sharing this video.

  • @MrGer2295 Thanks ! :)

  • As a result, he led a nomadic existence, constantly traveling, without a home he could call his own. Composed in the summer of 1882, at a cottage near Kamenka, where Tchaikovsky was able to work in peace, the Six morceaux are charming, intimate miniatures – all dedicated to women. Molto Bello!!! Thank you for sharing this video.

  • traumhaft schön! Danke!

  • i miss playing my violin :/

  • simply amazing.....

  • Wundebar!!!

    Fantastisch!!!

  • @idbuybelgium EPIC COMMENT IS EPIC

  • @idbuybelgium 150% dumbass

  • @MrLuke4me r u crazy? Do you have any taste in classical music? Instead of calling a genious a dumbass u should go back to your mediocre tastes and come back when you open your ears and understand what real music is SUPPOSE to sound like.

In my opinion, this is powerful. Very powerful....

  • 0:25

  • @MiniMackeroni yeah I agree there really is no need to shout to the world that you like classical or rock or pop or etc. or all kinds of music cause no body will care if you like them or not

  • Hey guys i'm 14 and i LOVE this song it's heart touching it goes straight for the heart ... Reminds me of true love i don't know why ... Gives a deeper sens to sadness than "Alesana - apology" i suggest you listen this just to laugh ... Tchaikovsky is music itself ...

  • @russian810 Just who in the hell CARES? You're 14 and listen to Classical. Big fucking whoop. A lot of people do despite not announcing it to the entire world.

  • @MiniMackeroni don't be rude. It's just a teenager...can you understand that right?

  • @catherinemariechan Jajaja true...and we all act a little senseless at that age

  • @LovelessRitsukaAoyag Note not to the person I'm replying to, don't read "jajaja" as "jah-jah-jah" that's hahaha in Spanish, I'm here to prevent some from feeling retarded. I'm a helpy-helperton.

  • @horus0987 Sorry thanks, it is just that in spahish we use "ha ha ha" like a sarcastic laugh...didn't know it is different for you...

  • C'est quoi ces 8 personnes qui n'aiment pas ? ! O_o

  • My favorite piece of his.

  • Lol, i've meant 'THE' buttons,

and i love this piece by the genius!^^

  • great!

  • το κάτι άλλο...

  • Also for the 8 people who disliked this, get a life!

  • @chopinvalseop42 i dont understand why people on youtube expect that EVERYBODY should like the videos they watch. Why on earth do you care so much?isnt it great that there is a great diversity which gives birth to all those exquisite and unexpected creations of mankind?

  • @Peterpunk80 I kind of curse the day that Youtube took away the rating system and replaced it with the "Like" and "dislike". I'm quite sure a large majority of comments ever typed on Youtube are about those buttons :P It makes people too conscious about something that really isn't all that big of a deal :(

  • @Peterpunk80

First: this is breathtaking, enchanting, beautiful and moving, just...Tchaikovsky!!!

Now to your comment, this is an interesting point of view,

i also don't like, if people press the dislike button, for some do this just for fun as well.

Otherwise you're right, nobody can love everything, this is ok, so to me i just leave to buttons alone, if i don't like a piece...:)

  • @straycat316 hey, i totally agree with you, the track is simply amazing, i love every single second of this. My point is, whichever video I watch i see: ''thumbs up if you wanna cry, thumbs up if you have a stomachache, thumbs up if you hate this song, 4 haters burn in hell'',etc and I just feel so awkward towards this cry for attention and homogeneity.

  • @Peterpunk80

It's a unique and to-die for melody and piece, like nearly everything by the genius!!

I do understand your feelings, lol, makes me smile..:)

This isn't my cup of tea as well, btw.

  • @Peterpunk80 u deserve a thumbs up! xD

  • This is one of the greatest examples of works not known nearly as well as the rest of tchaikovsky's that is absolutely breath taking. I literally fade away with every passing second of this piece. Thanks for uploading!

  • Por dios paro de escuchar esta musica y las otras ke tiene son grandiosas u.u

  • Captures the Russian soul incredibly well.

  • Press play and cry (c)

  • whenever i hear this song i think of a russian ballroom in the 1950's where a woman just pulled a gun out of her garter and killed someone..but everything just continues as normal inside.

  • Euria ari di Iruñean. Rochen aterpetu da ondoko liburudendan laur liburu erosirik. Kafesnea galdegin du, basoz. Ostatuan arimarik ez, lekat bi neska eta bera. Zzakutotik liburuak jalgi eta noiz dituen erosi idazteari lotu da. Tarteka, neskak behatu ditu. Maite ditu; bata blonda eta bertzea beltza. Alemaneraz ari dire. Ostatuko atea zabaldu da eta neska bat sartu guziz hormaturik. Berau ere badu laket. Natatsu da, begi ñabarra. "Oi!" Ez du etxen sartu nahi. Bihotza pezu du, eta eztarria estu.

  • I actually found out about this artist through one of David Firth's video. Man, hadn't realized how much Mr. Firth had twisted this piece- it suited the video beautifully- but I'm hearing this from a whole new perspective.

Very pretty, though I kind of wish it didn't liven at some parts, but that's just me being a grouchy asshole. Thanks for sharing!

  • could a piece be anymore beautiful than this one? it's hard to believe

  • God bless the Russians!

  • @aniflikgirl THANK YOU <3

  • @aniflikgirl ...because tchaikovsky was a russian? and how is he going to bless them? is he going to bles only people with russian passports or are emigrants to other countries also included? please clue us in on the details. either that or admit you just wrote a moronic comment.

  • @toxxicrose : Appreciate your comment :)

  • @toxxicrose This piece is a grand tragedy about something intangible concerning the human race. I come close to tears every time I listen to this masterpiece.

  • @toxxicrose I lost you at "u".

  • @PatrolTard *you.. does that satisfy YOU. :)

  • Also listen and watch on Youtube: Robert Rossi. Rain and you. Enjoy.

  • Could you tell me who is the violinist?

  • Oh, quina meravella... La combinació del ritme de vals junt amb la nostàlgia que allibera aquesta peça fa que m'hagi atrapat tot sobtadament. Tchaikovsky va ser un dels millors melodistes de la Història de la música. Genial!! Romàntic nocturn.

  • Ida Haendel?

  • words can't describe how inlove i am with this piece

  • This is the most beautiful thing ever ever.

  • @MrLECLIPSE Euh, comment? Le commentaire de SophisticatedLunatic note la divinité de cette pièce et la génie de Tchaikovsky. "Cette pièce est pour les gays" est un commentaire qui sous-estime tout ca.
