Love this movie, not ashamed at all. Kids beating up adults? Set in the 90s? Ninjas? Stereotypical bi-polar villian? Surfer dudes? How can any 90s kid not like this?
I don't care how much of a ripoff 3 Ninjas was. I LOVE TMNT and Home Alone, and those films will always be some of my favorites. 3 Ninjas will also be one of my favorites. I first saw it in 2nd grade and I was obsessed with TMNT and Home Alone around the same time, same with the original Karate Kid. Art continues to rip off other forms of art. I honestly can't bring myself to care.
All that matters to me is that I grew up with these films, and that's why they have such a lasting impact on me.

actually, upon remembering this movie, i thought jamie lee curtis acted as a boy when she was younger. OR the child actor who played jeffrey/colt got a sex change to become a girl when he got older thus, becoming who we all know as jamie lee curtis today.

But oh NO not NC, he reviews nostalgic films for us 80s babies - including himself I would think - and TEARS them apart. Most of the time not knowing wtf he is talking about. I mean YES he is entertaining, YES he is talented, YES I think he should make it big in hollywood and have a show or being on SNL or something BUT in his reviews he nit picks and witches WAY too much.
