hey, in case you didn't realise, 0.01 seconds is too small for someone to actually SEE the difference between 2 swimmers. 0.01 is very very very fast, which meant that Phelps won by less than a fingernail touch. It looks like they touched together. Cavic glided while Phelps did a stroke to the wall. I'm a swimmer and I know this. 0.01 secs is too small to see anything. Also, from the video angle, it looks like Cavic is winning.

Phelps' fingers may just be a tiny bit longer than Cavic's, anyway.

Not true. Touchpad activates with a pressure of at least 3kg. Any less and watter waves would triger it. Omega officials said in their official statement that it was clear from the second set of the pictures that Cavic touched it first but with not enough pressure. So Cavic touched it first, but Phelps activated it first and won (not for me). Cavic is the true winner!

omega needs the photo above the surface through the water and at the side zoomed in and up close underwater at the pause exactly when it turns 6 seconds on this video. this will prove to everybody that phelps touched first.

the photos they use are the underwater ones and they are viewd straight up. you need photos from the side like this video or just above the surface looking down through the water and then you can see phelps exact contact with the wall. phelps first contact with the wall is at exactly six seconds in this video. his fingers touch just above the surface before the palm of his hand just submerges slightly underwater which is the main photo used by omega and fina and they do not have the right one.
