Why does everyone attribute this to Corelli? La Follia is a folk THEME that comes out of the Renaissance and has been used by about 150 different composers down through time, including Lully, Vivaldi, Corelli, Handel, Bach, A. Scarlatti, Geminiani, Salieri, etc.

This kid is playing it with reverence. I expect big things from him....

Is like a bergamasca,romanesca,the robin etc is a melody but than you compose variations on it and you use it like a ground.

What the frig!!!  Has he been holding a violin since he was born. I just started when I was ten and then played 3 yrs. with a pirastro and red label strings. Amazing performance especially the fact that you aren't a zombie like other kids. I salute you.
