I'm perplexed by how calm Raiden stays while Liu Kang hurls insults at him. I mean, I get Liu is frustrated and all, but if I were his MENTOR, and got that backlashed, I would at least teach the little bitch some respect. Raiden, too, is imperfect like all others; he wasn't informed of Sindel's arrival at the temple, otherwise he wouldn't leave. And even if Liu and Raiden did stay, who is to say Sindel wouldn't smite them like she did with the seven warriors, who were also formidable?
