Um homem talentoso que nem esse é praticamente desconhecido aqui no Brasil. Enquanto os artistas do axé, do forró e do funk fazem sucesso. Rebolation, Ivete Sangalo, restart, banda calypso, e tantos outros lixos são mais conhecidos do que muitos gênios da música que nem o Gismonti. Que vergonha, tem vezes que dá nojo de ser brasileiro.

Enquanto discute-se se ele é o melhor do mundo, ou se é melhor com o violao ou com o piano, ninguém comentou que ele é também o compositor da maior parte das músicas que interpreta. Ele não é apenas mais um intérprete virtuoso. Ele cria suas obras, e para mim, faz muita diferença. Tenho grande admiração e respeito por esse gênio brasileiro, quase que desconhecido em próprio nosso país. Obrigado pelo desabafo!!!

É verdade, quando morei no Brasil vi pocas pessoas que conheciam bem o Gismonti (nem alguns músicos). A gente é colonizada demais, só conhecem os músicos americanos (sou italiano e moro na Espanha, aqui na Europa é o mesmo).

lol, you can say he's not the best guitar player, but he wouldn't mind for that as Egberto's main instrument is the piano, I bet you can't a pianist as good as him... I had the oportunity to see him playing here in São Paulo, a Genius
