Hi. I bought the Kisai Broke watch from Japan during the summer, but I'm having a problem. Whenever I recharge my watch from my laptop or 360 for the full 3.5 or 4.5 hrs, the watch lights up fine for a short while, but then the battery dies really quickly. I've even made sure to turn off the animation option too, but it still dies within a few days, not anywhere near the month or so as stated. I'm not pressing the time every few seconds either, so its not that. I love my watch. Any help plz? ty.
@Ireland1229 Hello, please don't worry, Tokyoflash will look after you. Please email service(at)tokyoflash(dot)com and explain the problem, they will get back to you right away.
@ils7nanins Hi there, good question. The whole screen doesn't flash and flickr like in the video, this is an effect of the camera. The lights stay on and only the lights that show the time go on and off.
@pmgodfrey It's really easy to understand when you know how - just like learning to read a clock with hands. It only takes a couple of days to be able to read it at a glance. And, the battery will last for a month on one charge so that's plenty of time to read it ;-)
@VoidOvNihil1134 Thanks for the feedback :-) We like to hear it whether positive or negative. It's really easy to understand and read at a glance when you get used to it.
@bobthemagicseacow "Minutes in groups of FIVE are shown in the inner ring". So basically you just add the the current 5 minute group with the current single minute(s).
To the MAKERS - If there is a way to permanently display the time then i would love to buy this watch - and if so, how long will one charge last. If there isn't, there's no way ill buy this watch - which is a real shame because it would be perfect otherwise?
@petdevils thanks for the feedback. I'm afraid there is no option in this design to have the time on permanently. We are listening to our fans & are trying to deliver the designs you want. We recently released the Kisai Rogue SR2 LCD / LED Watch which has an always on display.
@petdevils It isn't always on because it is using LED lights not LCD (LED Much Brighter) If always on it would last about 1 hour I guess. There is nothing that can stay on always besides LCD and E-paper. They haven't invented the ever lasting Lithium battery yet. ;)
@123heroe123 It's easy. The current time is shown by the lights that flash. Lights in the outer ring indicate hours in the same position as numbers on a clock face (3 o'clock), the inner ring shows 5 minute groups in the same position as minutes on a clock (40 minutes) and 4 single minutes are shown in the central area (4) so the current time is 3:44.
I really like the design ans also the idea of a USB-chargeable watch is great, but why isn't there a allways-on-mode ?! What's the use of a super cool designed dial, if nobody ever sees it ? immagine having a perfect canvas on the wall which is covered for 99 % of the time, and even when uncovered, visble just for a few seconds. that's senseless ! so is that watch for me, I'm sorry ...
What I don't like about all those binary LED-watches is the fact that they are turned off all the time. Immagine you want to see what time it is without everybody noticing - you can't even see what time it is without having your other hand free for pressing that button. It also keeps the lights on for too little time. In fact the guy explaining keeps on pressing it several times for just that little vid ...

Just wondering if the whole screen is flashing/blinking as seen above in rl, or if its just because of the camera...?!?

@TokyoflashReviews I want one! It would be cool if it flashed random patterns every minute between 9pm and 3am as on my SS Barcode watch.

@Xlnc02 do you mean an animation? Yes, there is an optional animation that can be activated to illuminate the display between 6PM and midnight.
