Its too bad about VHS disease. Theres always something devastating the mighty St. Lawrence. Whats even worse is the fact that muskys are a rare fish in this river system. They are here, but not as plentiful as other species of fish. It would be a bad idea for the NYS DEC to protect muskellunge untill we know the damage this disease will cause in the long run!!
