I actually find her voice intriguing even if it´s high pitched, it sounds great :P This sounds like a teenage boy singing and the song looses its original charm...so failed if you ask me...
you idiot! why would you ruin this song? she has a really good voice and maybe you should actually hear chatmonchy songs not just from your stupid little anime show. Chatmonchy is my favorite band and how dare you put down the way she sings, that's why I hate when anime fans hear good Japanese music. You have no right to insult it when the only Japanese music you hear is from anime. and your insult is not funny, have some respect
this version isn't that bad. i like it as well as the origina version. the only difference is this one doesn't make the ears as tired as the other one while the other one has its originality. in any case, good job on making an effort of trying to make the song better for other people.
you don't have to write bleach, it's not like bleach made this song. and I dont really like that a lot of people like the song just from bleach because I already liked it before I knew bleach. this is a great song but sounds kinda weird lower pitch haha
Forget what these ass wipes are telling you. You sound great. I like the this as much as the first one. Your vocals were perfect and in a lower pich. This was awesome. You get five stars from me.
@lightningshock12 you idiot! she has a really good voice and maybe you should actually hear chatmonchy songs not just from your stupid little anime show. Chatmonchy is my favorite band and how dare you put down the way she sings, that's why I hate when anime fans hear good Japanese music. You have no right to insult it when the only Japanese music you hear is from anime. and your insult is not funny, have some respect
What are you talking about. IK said this was a good rendition. I didn't insult either versions or singers, so re-read the comment, it was positive. And idiot? Don't start.
@lightningshock12 the thing is chatmonchy did not write this song for bleach it was a song they wrote because they are a band. bleach just decided to use it. it's not fair that some anime fans don't like how the song sounds and decide to change it cuz it's not for the anime its a song! thats how it is supposed to sound thats how a lot of japanese music sounds and some even higher voice than this. anime is japanese cartoons so why would you like it if someone ruined the way it was supposed to be
Because it wasn't ruined. Anyone's entitled to make a new rendition of an original song by someone else. I liked both versions. They were both good. Was it fair? Yes, because the reason someone would cahnge the song up IS BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL MUST HAVE BEEN REALLY GOOD. I liked this one, and no one and the other one, and both were good. So what if it was for a stupid band, they should be glad it was featured at all in an ANIME. Does it even matter? No.
@lightningshock12 nobody is entitled cuz its not your song! how can you say that? it's editing some else's work. do you think chatmonchy would say its ok to ruin or change their song?stupid band? chatmonchy is the best band to me and what is stupid is the anime. they shouldn't be glad it was in an anime cuz then all these anime people will find out about their great band and try and ruin they're songs cuz they're not used to japanese music. leave it as is or dont listen to japanese music at all!
That's your personal opinion. You haven't the right to speak in general as if that's what everyone thinks. Just to let you know, if it wasn't okay, they never would have made another rendition of the song. See you later.
@lightningshock12 so it's okay to change someone else's work? no just because the video hasn't been removed yet by chatmonchy's record company doesn't mean it's ok. so much japanese music have voices like that, that's just how it is. just because people aren't used to the high voices when they watch their anime doesn't mean it should be deeper. they're putting a song out into the world that they did not create. they just changed the pitch, that doesn't mean they own it.
Yes it is okay to change someone else's work because they were granted permission. They couldn't have made this rendition if it wasn't first authorized. The company knows it's here, because if they didn't, it would have been removed long ago. I know they don't own the song, but they own this rendition, and permission was granted by the original artist. If you enjoyed Japanese music as much as you say you do, you wouldn't be argueing.
@lightningshock12 they don't have permission. u don't get it by just asking. that doesn't work. ppl put songs on all the time and they get removed when they reported. and no just by making a small edit to someone else's work does not mean they own that version. what if u wrote a book and I changed one sentence in a copy, does that mean I own it now? all I listen to is japanese music and I am defending people ruining how it is supposed to sound, trying to make it sound more "normal" in their mind
So if that's the case, why hasn't American Idol been confronted for their tolerance of allowing the contestants to edit someone else's song and change the arrangement? They were authorized, were they not? Not only do they perform their rendition live, but it is studio recorded. You haven't the right to speak in general. Everything here is actually legalized. I'm not say it's their song, and I wasn't insinuating that either. I'm a 13 year old that's open to any music, whether it's edited or not.
american idol pays money to use the songs of course they can get permission. this person is just one person they can't just ask a big record company for permission and be ok. then the artists won't get money its ok to put music on youtube Ive put songs on before and they get removed but it's not ok to change the way its supposed to sound and say its yours. yea and Im a 16 yr old thats obsessed with asian music. so it just bothers me to hear a great song be changed when it was already perfect
Actually no, American idol does not pay. I looked it up. To you the song was perfect, but to others it wasn't. It's the same song, so I don't care. They changed, fine. It's still good. I don't care if it's their song or not, they changed it and they HAD every right to do so because they FELT like it. Ps, it's japanese music, and if you loved it as much, you'd be open to change.
the only reason it's not perfect to u is because ppl who watch anime aren't usually used to hearing jpop so they think it needs to be changed to sound more normal but if ur going to watch japanese shows, respect the japanese songs with them! I love japanese music thats why I dont want ppl changing something I love. its not american music so no need to try and make the voice sound like it thats why its unique. like if someone remade ur favorite movie cuz they thought something was wrong with it
I never said it wasn't perfect, but both were good. I don't care what you like. You don't enjoy japanese music as much as you're making it seem because you're open to only one type of artist. If this version came out first, and the one used in the anime came out second, I bet you'd not even begin to have a comment. You're bias, and that isn't going to work in debates. Nothing was wrong with the original, but they liked it a lot they made another version. I like this one, who cares. It's a song.
what? one artist? I love many many japanese artists but Im talking about this one now. it's cuz I've known and loved Daidai for a long time then I find someone changed it. no no matter which came out 2nd I'd be mad cuz u don't need to change someone else's song. think of a song u love a lot then think if u found someone changed it a lot cuz they thought the singer sounded like a "dying cat". tell me how would u feel? to u it's just a song, to me it's a very special song with special value to me
and also the only reason I am mad is because they insulted my favorite band and singer, saying her voice sounds like a dying cat and then changing the song. that is so rude and disrespectful. they make beautiful music. when someone who has never even heard chatmonchy other than on stupid bleach does that, of course I will get mad. You can't insult it and change the way it is supposed to be just because you saw it on a stupid anime show.
this isn't the original version, the one that sounds like a dying cat (i don't think so, you just have to get used to it). that's why this is the lower pitch version.

If we find an instrumental version of this, we can cut out the lower pitch vocals and put them on normal pitch instrumental
