  • I remeber that day, one time when the 22 was doing a vertical climb it set off almost all the car alarms.

  • It's safe to say that keeping the leading edge on all weather fighter supiority is keeping us safe and well ahead of any enemy nation. Its worth it.

  • Ever wonder why you pay 50% of your income in taxes and inflation? You're lookin at it.

  • Do a barrel roll!

  • man i live near a base.. bee very careful takin videos like taht

  • Langey was treated to a preview of the new season's demo today. It is unbelievable. From powering out of a slow high angle of attack to a vectored corkscrew turn, the new demonstrated capabilities make this clip nearly obselete. It's apparant we've merely been given a taste of what this amazing jet can really do. They did the demo twice today.

  • Despite all the engineering finesse in the world, however, the F-22A's stealth capabilities put it far ahead of the competition. In an age where missiles and radar, instead of speed and agility, often decide the fight, the ability to vanish from sight is checkmate. Some aircraft might be faster, more agile or smaller than the Raptor, but none of them can kill what they can't see.

  • The Eurofighter, the Su-37, the Rafale and a number of other 4th/5th Generation aircraft are fantastic designs. The F-22A, however, remains at the top. All of these aircraft (or their predecesors) were designed to fight a war that never happened, and it's unlikely we'll ever see them all thrown into a ring against one-another.

  • all planes go through prevenitive maintance. the 1 hour mean time is hour long the plane iss do to scheduled routine mataince not because its broken. it's the equivilent of getting you oil changed every 3000 mile even if the car doesnt need it its donne anyway. and besides every new systems first genhas a shake down time. all the testing in the worl is no match for real life action.

  • I cannot believe it, this guy ttrashing the Raptor is EVERYWHERE...-_-

  • Read here how the Eurofghter owned the F22 in close and BWR combat! Source: "internatinal AIR POWER REVIEW" - year 2006, issue 20, page 45. - ISNB: 1-880588-91-9 (casebound) or ISBN: 1473-9917.

Most Airforces have these reports - read it yourself - instead of listening to US kids with the F22 poster hanging on the wall!

  • no international war games have happend yet .but it is acknowledged that every nato pilot who has flown it and they have. everyone wants this 1 not the mig not the euro fighter this 1. all the US allies are pissed they cant buy it.

  • You posted this thing some times, I'm seriously considering the fact that you're just copy/pasting it from topic to topic...why don't you try finding something new or just stop with this fickin' air power review??...

  • HAHAH pak-fa will be the revolution in the aircraft. You mean MiG 1.44 will eat f-22. Iwanow said already that any of MFIs are better than raptor. Compare 22s with Typhoon that would be more realistic.

  • the mig is an excellent last gen fighter. roughly equal to the f-15. the su 37 is 3 5th gen fighter this plane was built to kill. th 1.44 is an upgrade to the mig 29. wich was routinely waxed by f15/16s. if capable pilots flew them maybe id worry.

  • No not 1.44, that was MiG's bid for a stealth fighter and it was rejected. You mean the MiG-35.

  • Thats what they said when the russians copied the F-15s style (MiG-29). F-15: MiG-29 as F-22: PAK:FA. The results of F-15 vs mig by the way? 0 F-15s shot down, hundreds of MiGs downed.

  • the f-22 that carshed crashed from a bug in the control system its was a prototype thats goin to happen the su-30 that crashed crashed becuz it lost to much airspeed during a manouver and fell to earth wich the raptor dosent do during and after its manouver it maintains foward flight the su-30s and up all lose too much speed and have to drop there nose to maintain foward flight its very noticible

  • ive seen the raptor do numorus things and even more then the terminator ive seen the raptor do things no other jet do let alone a actual war ready fighter i know alot about the terminator unlike you i check both sides of the debate b4 stiking my nose in you should try the same

  • ha..ha ha ha u guys dont know nothing about su 37 no fighter can do what su 37 dose so what crush i have seen f-22 crshing dose that means f-22 its not good go and search about Su 37 or ask some pilot if u know any cuz i know so many by the way the su ur talking about that crshd in airshow it was su-30

  • the x-31 can take out a terminator lets see how you like comparing prototypes or non operational plaines.

  • the su-37 never showed offensive capability and with weapons is like a flying limp dick it wont be able to perform all its manouvers o and wich su-37 are you talken about the one that crash or the to that were converted back to su-35s??

  • SU-37 CAN SMOKE F22 AT ANY TIME LOL

  • The f-22 can take on and destroy any other plane in the sky...

  • What about another F-22? lol

  • Ah, but I *am* thinking positively. When we're at war with North Korea and Iran, we'll be so busy with the nuclear fallout we won't give a damn about the F-22's capabilities *or* its price tag. :D

  • The F-117 used Russian technology, the B-2 and the F-22 use different technologies, and the F-22 is better than the Eurofighter !

  • US just took Russian technology as usual

Russian physic Pyotr Ufimtsev 30 years ago publish info on stealth, US stole it

    If you don't trust me

    Just google: physic Ufimsev

  • vaninec is living proof stupid people should not reproduce.

  • Looks like a tortoise against the typhoon

  • Yeah but a typhoon couldn't do loops like that. No TVC nozzles.

  • Weird to see it from that far off. I actually opened two browsers so I could watch your vid and mine at the same time. Nothing synched up haha.

  • Wow it took nothing to recover from that stall, barely dropped the nose

  • that would be such a rush.... that's awesome...

  • this guy has a lot of skill to get that raptor to stale and free fall like that .

  • Stale, the F-22 is anything but stale...

I think you mean STALL. And no that doesnt take skill every pilot at a air show can do it.

  • . ya i ment stall but not every pilot can do that..well as long as he can.. he falls over 500 feet in that video befor going out of it..

  • I'm a crew chief on these things here at Langley. Honestly, when the plane is in the air, nothing can top it...

  • Take THAT Mig-29!

  • learn to edit. 90% of this video is empty or really far shots

  • I went for the completeness aspect. I only edited when the plane was not in frame at all.

  • Well I am no longer envious of the maneuvers of the Russian jets, the F22 does them all and better.

  • That is SOME aeroplane! Well done keeping them all in the frame in that last shot :)

  • HOW LIKES CHEESE!!?!

  • Holy Crap! Was that a 90 degree roation after the climb?!

  • I just love the plane, personally. And sooner or later some of the tech developed for it will help feed the homeless and clothe the hungry, or whatever.

  • all you whiney ass tree huggers on here are missing the point...!!! the men who put their blood, sweat and tears into designing these things love(ed) engineering...!!! and i can respect these machines for the beauty of their design. flawless in every single way. the f-22 reminds me of a metal paper airplane we've all made in school. this guy simply posted this up to show you something he enjoys and you have to bash it.

  • I appreciate your comments and support. As for the dissentors, everyone is entitled to their opinions. I still have the right to delete or turn off comments should they stray too far out.. :) It's about the Aircraft, not the politics or fighting or money or any one person's opinion.

  • Hahaha, hurray for the shot of the terrible dorms we get to live in!

  • I loved the flyover at the end. I saw an A-10, F-22, F-15, and what was the one flying the lead?

  • F-86 Sabre

  • Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.

    Dwight D. Eisenhower

  • you should sell your computer, just think of all the people you could feed, plus we would'nt have to deal with you being such a dumbass.

grow up, or sell your stuff.

  • Yes. As swerve points out, if you're going to talk the talk, then maybe you should WALK THE WALK first... or else your words are as empty to our ears, as cotton candy might taste good to the mouth, but is nothing to the stomach.

Sell all that you have, and give it to the poor... then come talk your words.

  • immrlizard had a good point with a good quote. then you destroyed it with your WALK/TALK bollocks (sorry that means bullshit in yankish)

  • You must be too young to know what "hypocrisy" means.

I know I destroyed it, because what I said is correct. You're too dim to understand it.

The country that doesn't build warships or rockets, is the country that is taken over by a tyrant dictatorship, and raped. That better than some people that choose to be poor? No excuse, unless you're mentally ill.

  • Wow... all i can say to that rash comment is

    "I BEG TO DIFFER"...

  • What's a plane like this cost? How many gal. per min.?

And an Iraqi with a sniper rifle still kills US soldiers... so what is the point of all the hardware....? You need to win hearts and minds in order to stay save and free. Reliance on this type of hardware is really more like jerking off, feels good but what's the point other than making ex-generals and defense contractors wealthy

  • maybe because there are more threats in the world than insurgents?

  • Q: Why risk a $120M aircraft to drop a $100K bomb on a target that could be blown up by $200K of CIA assets with $10K of C4?

The F-22 is amazing and I suspect its supercruise, stealth, and thrust-vectoring is very useful for close air support in Iraq and Afghanistan, but even if you aren't a tree-hugger (I am), the money would be better spent on the CIA, NSA, FBI, and USSOCOM. Unconventional tactics will win even conventional wars.

  • I believe it's because there's a value of life involved... Send in several agents to destroy single target, or send in one pilot that can destroy that same target, with less risk and less people on your side that may die. Life preservation.

  • Obviously, air strikes are the best way of taking stuff out, but in the current environment there's not a lot of SAMs and AAMs flying around, meaning a lot of the F-22's capabilities are wasted.

Not to mention the fact that it's a lot harder to disavow a laser-guided bomb than a satchel charge. ;)

  • Nice Video. Thanks for posting it!

  • some real sick manuvres

    good job!

  • Everything in the demo just seems more controlled than the Russian planes. It seems like it's nothing for the F-22.

  • Yeah, that's what stuck out to me too. Russian birds do flip and flop around but the Raptor does it smoothly and with stability, always under control...

  • But take into account that instability means more manoeuvrability. The more stable the aircraft the less turning ability.

  • Very nice. F-22 and Max are COOL

  • That kulbit at 4:10 is probably the most graceful one i've ever seen.

  • Awesome, felt like I was there!

  • Thanx For The Video!
