What I always loved about this series as a kid was that it felt so much bigger than other kids shows at the time.

A story concerning not only prejudice on earth but a galaxy-wide conflict with ancient powers, space empire, human dramas covering dozens of episodes. Each building on the other.

This show really treated us like adults and for that I am eternally grateful.

As for this peticular series of episodes, the phoenix saga was one of my favourite storyline of the show.

One of the best things about this series was that they didn't treat the viewers like we were idiots - sure, we were all kids, but they gave us some credit and dealt with the big issues reasonably well. I actually learned a lot of big words from Beast haha
