My two westies do the same thing, and usually, as they sleep talk, their little paws also twitch, as if they were running. So, I'm sure they dream that they run in green grass while chasing a bunny with dog friends... To me, that is the cutest thing ever ! :-)

Aw! My westie dosent bark but she snores and her paws and nose twitch. It's the cutest thing!

Both of my westies calvin and max do this. Its hysterical, because they will alternate between talking, growling, paws twitching, the whole bit. I had a vet tell me that it was common for the breed. Where as all dogs dream quite a bit till they hit adulthood, westies continue all through there life. Its suggested that there brains continue to develop and thats why westies have good recal, and such stark personalities.
