Great walkthrough. On a side note - you seem to be playing this game on Soundblaster/Adlib. You ought to download the Roland MT-32 ROM and play the music and sound as its meant to be. It's a tremendous improvement!!

a pity you were 2 points short.
as i recollect, in the original version it was even (relatively easily) possible to make a whole lot (perhaps a couple of dozens) of extra points above the 500.
the quest for glory series were my favorite computer games.
