if you're using direct connect it wont make any difference what type of network connection you have since direct connect is off network so it will work without any network

Do these allow configuring the "one touch direct connect" feature that is available on virtually all iDEN radios? I noticed you didn't have to manually access the contact list.

Hello.. they are very compatible with iDen phones.. as far as international I dont know. I have had them for a while now and am pretty impressed they work pretty good and just got the admiral now and will be posting a video of it in action.. I am really liking it.. and as far as volume it is good not as good as the old school phones that had the huge speaker like a i730 but good I can hear anyone fine and the speed is very good just the initial call setup needs a little work
