Hey buddy I think you're missing a couple things: a horse and the ability to ride it, knowing how to properly rope, humility, and a sense of reality. To name a few
There will forever be another Joe Beaver and Josh Peek or anyone to fill their boots, as now Paul Tierney also runs and conducts roping clinics, and whatever, though hopefully, anybody has come up with a school to teach anybody how to become another Joe Beaver and Josh Peek, as we really can go back in time to see Joe Beaver and Josh Peek, and when I grow up, I wanna become Joe Beaver and Josh Peek forever and ever to rope calves in the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas at 99 years of age
@wildwyoboyz I'm not really like the Allen of rodeo, but when it will really get down to business, my skill level will really be that of a Calgary Stampede competitior and I know I'll be roping in the Calgary Stampede for real life someday, and I know I really will
Are you for real???? I mean whats wrong with you excluding the obvious!! Your not a roper by any means!! You dont even have the skill or fundamentals of a kid in jr or little britches rodeo. Im being very nice because I dont know if you are mentally challenged or not. If you are shame on your parents for allowing you to lie like that dude!!!
@cowboymd1974 Not to worry, of course I'll be for real and I am actually mentally challenged and I never lied like that, but the only amateur rodeo I'd ever do is just the College National Finals Rodeo. I'll rope at the Calgary Stampede, Mo'betta, NFR, Cheyenne Frontier Days, Pendleton Round-Up, Houston and Astrodome and many other rodeos in both the USA and Canada
A. keep practicing! don't ever give up! most of the people bad mouthing you on here have probably never even lived in the country.
B. if you are rally serious about this, (and it sure looks like you are....) go to the gym and get lean an mean! throwing calves is definitely not the easiest thing in the world and you will get to the point were dummies aren't gonna cut it anymore.
Trevor, I'll never retire from calf roping at the age of 99, I'll do it forever, because it's my passion and favorite event as I will rope forever at the age of 95, 99, 100 and many other ages forever, YAHOO! One of these days, when I never retire from rodeoing in calf roping, I'll always hit the rodeo road again forever as I really find life on the road a lot relaxing and so I can pretty much go!
Props to Willy for getting out and trying it. Rawhide...don't ever misrepresent Trevor like that. Trevor's the guy that would be out here helping William, not telling him how good he is..My buddy Jerimy could learn a lot from Willy.
@drustew Trevor, I would like to find a real travelling partner sometime to help me to the Mo'Betta Calf Roping, the Calgary Stampede and the NFR and I want to calf rope a lot in the real rodeos forever as I could hopefully compete in the real professional rodeos and just follow the rodeo circuit a lot and that's what I'd really like to do.
I was wearing a riding helmet usually as if I was ever on a horse. I hope one day everyone will actually let me rope a calf in the PRCA as if I might hopefully get insurance for that.
