It's a great video,however I have one small remark to make: When formally addressing someone (usually an elderly person, a person of authority or a person with a title such as "Doctor" or "Licenciado") it is not grammatically correct to say "el teléfono de usted" (that would be the same as saying "el teléfono de ti"), instead "el teléfono SUYO" should be used.
Where have u been all these yrs, I have tried to learn these things so long and less than 5 mins I have learnt this so fast!!! Thank u so much! Continue the good work!!
@zondrah89 Besides what @tontitofrito explained to you, you also must know that you should NOT do this "de+el=del" when the article "el" is part of the noun, like we read the story: El Principito, so one question regarding this story should take "El" as part of the proper noun and you cannot do "del", eg: ¿Qué fue lo que más te gustó de El Principito? ¿Quién es tu personaje favorito de El Principito?
Gracious! ... These are great videos .. Its too hard to understand my professor, and my partner knows 4 languages already .... its like dealing with 2 people i do not understand .. lol .... This english to Spanish is great ... lol
wow, I have just been watching a whole lot of your videos and they are so good! You are an amazing language teacher and a real inspiration for everyone else out there who loves languages! GRACIAS!

In English also exists plural possesions adjectives: Ours, Yours, His, Hers, Theirs..
metal87power 1 year ago
No, those aren't referring to the quantity of the objects.
Our shirt... Our shirts.
I believe those forms (mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs) are possessive pronouns.

BRoKeN1190 1 year ago
why you used 'sus ' with pantalones !!!! its singular !!!!
BRoKeN1190 1 year ago
@BRoKeN1190 oh! sorry it wasnt singular :$
BRoKeN1190 1 year ago
"su" is used for one thing
su casa - his/her house
"sus" is used for more things
sus amigos - his/her friends
because amigos is plural (more than 1), su also is more than one in Spanish.

Hola! I have small question - It shouldn't be "el gato de Sr. Jordan" instead of "el gato del Sr. Jordan"? I'm little confused ;-)
superkasha83 1 year ago
When you talk directly to a person, it's Señor ____, Señora ___, Señorita ___.
When you talk about them, you have to have the definite article..
Eg:
El señor Jordan es muy raro.
Hablamos mucho de la señora Ortiz.
etc.
tontitofrito 1 year ago
@tontitofrito. What does el and de mean?
Nikela1986 1 year ago
el = the
de = of, about, from
tontitofrito 1 year ago
@tontitofrito, "de" can be also used as "Marie's house" - Casa DE Marie.
metal87power 1 year ago
in that case it is 'of'... literally: "The house of Marie" --> "Marie's house"
