  • thankyou so much

  • you are my favourite spanish teacher and I like your style, thank you so much for your help, way to go..Ole

  • i have a question

if i want to say my dogs i say mis perros

and if the dogs belong to the whole family and i want to say our dogs i say

    mis perros?

the same thing no change to tell the difference?

  • @TheFatimah2011

watch part two and see if you can figure it out ;-)

  • @TheFatimah2011 It would be nuestros perros

  • you are such a good teacher you really explain it well! thanks man sub

  • Could you also use su/sus when talking about something that belongs to ellos/ellas/ustedes?

  • @seriouslynow595

    watch part 2.

  • You have taught me so much! Thank you!!!!!!

  • could you help me what su / sus means ??????

  • Great video, I'm using it for mi clase de español 1B

  • It's a great video, however I have one small remark to make: When formally addressing someone (usually an elderly person, a person of authority or a person with a title such as "Doctor" or "Licenciado") it is not grammatically correct to say "el teléfono de usted" (that would be the same as saying "el teléfono de ti"), instead "el teléfono SUYO" should be used.

    Thanks :-)

  • learn*

  • How did you leanr spanish?

  • Haha i know this. :) (i'm puerto rican) so yea.

  • I LOVE YOU SENOR JORDAN!! jk.. but my spanish teacher showed me these videos and i never went back lol

  • Where have u been all these yrs, I have tried to learn these things so long and less than 5 mins I have learnt this so fast!!! Thank u so much! Continue the good work!!

  • what is the meaning of object? thanks

  • @edi3love

In the dictionary, it defines object as: "a thing, person, or matter to which thought or action is directed"

  • what is the difference between del and de?

  • @zondrah89

    de = of

de + el = del = of the

  • @zondrah89 Besides what @tontitofrito explained to you, you also must know that you should NOT do this "de+el=del" when the article "el" is part of the noun, like we read the story: El Principito, so one question regarding this story should take "El" as part of the proper noun and you cannot do "del", eg: ¿Qué fue lo que más te gustó de El Principito? ¿Quién es tu personaje favorito de El Principito?

  • In English also exists plural possesions adjectives: Ours, Yours, His, Hers, Theirs..

  • No, those aren't referring to the quantity of the objects.

    Our shirt... Our shirts.

I believe those forms (mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs) are possessive pronouns.

  • why dont i get spanish!?? IVe been taking spanish 1 for TWO YEARS STRAIGHT

  • i`m not student i just learn spanish for fun =D

  • why you used 'sus ' with pantalones !!!! its singular !!!!

  • @BRoKeN1190 oh! sorry it wasnt singular :$

  • "su" is used for one thing

    su casa - his/her house

"sus" is used for more things

    sus amigos - his/her friends

because amigos is plural (more than 1), su also is more than one in Spanish.

  • Hola! I have small question - It shouldn't be "el gato de Sr. Jordan" instead of "el gato del Sr. Jordan"? I'm little confused ;-)

  • When you talk directly to a person, it's Señor ____, Señora ___, Señorita ___.

When you talk about them, you have to have the definite article..

    Eg:

El señor Jordan es muy raro.

Hablamos mucho de la señora Ortiz.

    etc.

  • @tontitofrito. What does el and de mean?

  • el = the

    de = of, about, from

  • @tontitofrito, "de" can be also used as "Marie's house" - Casa DE Marie.

  • in that case it is 'of'... literally: "The house of Marie" --> "Marie's house"

  • it seems that when you wear the chicken shirt my class goes crazy and they usually pay alot more attention to you and do better in spainish class.

  • Hmmm... I'll have to consider that when making new videos.
