  • the video would be better if there was music in the backround

  • Absolutely gorgeous! Such talent!

  • Great piece of artwork. Love the psychedelic tree!!

  • Awesome!

  • how did you do the backgroud? the texture looks amazing :)

  • "while painting branches, there's really nothing you can do wrong" you'd take that back if you saw some of my trees. there's always one rogue branch.

  • at first i was like: Are u fucking kidding me..

But at the end it was like: Holly shit, fucking amazing!

  • You are amazing!(:

  • I like it..but without the dots :/

  • @archemis07 Thanks for watching!

  • would look sweet with the caterpillar from alice and wonderland smoking the hookah. and without the swirls. but it still looks kick ass

  • @DrLsw Yeah. I like that idea. You should give it a go. Post a video reply. :)

  • @amerspearce I would but im not nearly as talented as you with paint :)

  • @amerspearce i'll buy the supplies tomorrow. also it would be the first thing ive painted lol

  • IMA DO THIS AND IMA ADD PURPLE CHERRY BLOSSOMS.

  • @ArnellaBieber09 That sounds great! I'd love to see the outcome.

  • what is negative if you use normal acrylic paints and painting even when other parts hav dryed?

  • @mcdrummonkey By "normal", what do you mean?

You can use different paints together. Typically, you want one to dry before you use different kinds. The negatives to not waiting until the paint is dry to paint more, is that you may get an unwanted "muddy" effect (which is where the colors of your paint mix and become muddy looking.

Also, if you use too much paint, or if you paint drastically different layers, you could get cracking in your painting.

    Don't worry too much.

  • suppppper epic nice I want 1 off those plssssz

  • @tiilli You just made my night.

  • @amerspearce P.S. There are lots of original paintings at my studio which are in desperate need of a home. :)

  • This is amazing. I have watched a few of your videos, and you really inspire me. Some time soon, Im totally going to go buy some of this stuff, and then, your videos will be my teacher. :D

  • @TheFonatopia Don't think about it...just do it. So fun!

  • nice! :) What do I use with acrylics to make it smoother? Oil too?

  • @couscousandhumus usually water.

  • @couscousandhumus for acrylic you can use paint medium added to the paint to make it stay wet longer since acrylic paint dries so fast and maybe the water will create the same effect as she drags the fan brush across

  • @9serenity99 Exactly. The more water you use, the thinner the paint will become. SOmething to remember.

  • @couscousandhumus Like coucousandhumus said, usually water, but you can use a paint retarder or thinner.

  • Sooo useful, thanks to you I painted my tree ^.^ Thank you for uploading it :)

  • @diddet0 I'd love to see it!

  • So pretty! the background is peaceful and LOVE the color, and at the same time the tree is kinda scary, is like perfect combination!:)

  • @Marianneedelacruz Haha. You're not the first one to tell me that my trees are scary. I love it! herartfromtheattic.blogspot.com

  • Helpful, thanks!

  • do you ever clean your pallet? :L

  • @mooollyb You have no idea how much your question make me laugh. The answer is, clearly, no...not really.

  • @amerspearce it was actually a sarcastic question :P

  • You are amazing. As is the tree.

  • looks like an alice in wonderland tree

  • @kzelek22 THat's sweet! Also, out of curiosity, how did you get the heart at the end?

  • excellent

  • @Sinernita Did you make one?

  • This is LOVELY!! What did you do for the background here? - How did you create that texture and what colours did you use??

  • @siljekjenes First, with acrylic paint, I faided green up to white. Then I washed over it with some blue oil paint. I made the top layer thicker than the underneath so that it would crack.

  • u know ur drill girl, nice tutorial :)

  • @Rugoraige Haha. Thanks.:-)

  • amazing job, amy!

  • @thistoooshallpass Thanks so much!

  • Love it!

  • Whats the oil for?

  • @Beatlesfan815 thins the paint, thinner paint always is applied over thicker oil paint otherwise the layer underneath cracks due to different drying times

  • @Speekerful Good comment. Thank you!

  • @Beatlesfan815 The oil makes the consistancy of the paint thinner and easier to spread.

  • Whats the oil for?

  • @Beatlesfan815 4:50 'u can dop it inte the oil to get it a little smoother'

    '

  • @Beatlesfan815 The oil makes the consistancy of the paint thinner and easier
