I can't wait to see how Hyundai will grow next 5 years! Although I ended up choosing Benz C300 over Genesis Sedan, I'm sure my next car will be one from Hyundai!

Why music choices are prelude and concerto? Are hyundai ad-makers idiots? There are tons of great music in sonata. Also, they should have chosen the performance of virtuoso, not random artists.

Got a chance to look at the Sonata today. 2 major problems.

1) Hyundai needs to fix the MASSIVE panel gap between the bonnet & grill. It looks like the bonnet is not closed properly.

2) Styling found inside TRIES to give a feeling of a Near Luxury car, BUT fails bcus materials inside& tactile feel of the switches are no different from what is found in a i30 or elantra.

Conclusion: Don't think you'll be getting a car that encroaches on the Azera territory. It's only the design that is a little bit more fresher than before. Other than that it is just a humble midsize car.

I tried googling it a couple times but was unsuccessful at finding any tangible proofs.

I think VW engineer comment is bogus to begin with since... VW would not even look at Hyundai as a competition.

CC with Genesis maybe but they are in FR and FF category in which makes Genesis better just because of my personal preference of FR drivertrain. Anyways, yeah....

Wow, New Sonata and New Tucson next year. + Genesis, Genesis Coupe, SantaFe, Veracruz, Elantra, Elantra Touring, Accent, Accent Hatchback.

What a great line up here.. They are growing really fast based on absolutely gorgeous design of the cars, all its quality. Who knows if Hyundai gets Toyota down next year? or virtually already did. As an owner of SantaFe, I can guarantee its true value that Hyundai makes.

This sonata will be the one to sink the Camcord. Truly exciting design, with beautifully resolved lines and curves... While hyundai are making cars like this honda goes and produces the abomination that is the Crosstour - Toyotas aren't much better either. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that Toyota/Honda are going down, while Hyundai are on the way up... My prediction- Hyundai/Kia will take the no 1 spot from toyota within 5 yrs, just you watch.
