@beachesrok300 It is the best Hilary Duff song, but being in the eighth grade or whatever grade you are in now, you may not know what the message of this song is. This song tells people to do things they feel they ought to do even if the world says it is ridiculous. The same message can be found in "This is Me," from Camp Rock, only that song is from someone who has chosen to bare their shoulders and stop hiding who they are, whereas "Why Not?" is an advice song.
