  • If Malaysia was a country where firearms were easier to acquire, this would be a coup, not a rally... and change would come much much faster... Ignore those who are ignorant and stuck in their comfort zone, either that or they are benefiting from the injustice.

  • apek lu bebel apa jer.. balik kwangtong kalau tak puas hati..

  • The funny thing about the youth is that they are willing to get up, brave the police, acid laced water, tear gas and god knows what else. This in my opinion could be attributed to the natural rebellious nature of youths itself fueled by modern day heroic fantasies observed from Hollywood movies and music.

All that aside, they still can't be bothered enuff to get up and walk down to the nearest Post Office and register as a voter!! Millions of eligible Youths are not registered as voters.

  • people who say change is impossible are those who destroys a country.change is possible.change is imminent!

  • I think you don't know how to value the peace we have enjoyed by supporting this demonstration. There are so many ways to protest against the government in a more peaceful and wise. This demonstration is stout harm than good for the country. I suggest you be open minded to talk about the disadvantages that arise from this demonstration. I am very confident that this demosntrasi more to political opposition to win the incoming election.

  • @wanrids i agree wth u!!!

  • where are you at these days...

  • I share your sentiments! I was part of the rally and I'm glad I did!

  • I echo your sentiments. I do believe many Malaysians are jaded in one way or another and r not bothered to raise their voices in unison regardless of race to fight for a just cause. I stood together w fellow Malaysians at the London UK Bersih Rally and we were of all ages, all races and some more... families w young children, grannies, grandpas, teenagers alike. Peace loving citizens we are... for those who fail to see the cause? Peace be upon you. I hope your conscience sheds some light on you.

  • Pukimak punya cina

  • @syamshaunary pls behave

  • @mikecestino APE YG KO CKAP 2 BEK SGT KE NK SRUH ORG BEHAVE HA???

  • Bersih has shown more racial unity than 1malaysia has ever shown, and may i ask how much does 1malaysia campaign cost again?

  • one phrase, "FCUK UMNO"!

  • dont care abt what that katak said bro.....Im an Indian and even I found out that he said it purposely and tries to cover it another way !!! remember katak, chinese is x a coward, they are the main purpose whyy Malaysian ECONOMY is what now !!!

  • KALAU DULU SAYA SANGAT SOKONG KERAJAAN, TETAPI SETELAH ,MENGANALISA DAN MENGANALIS TENTANG SISTEM DEMOKRASI ZAMAN SEKARANG, TERUTAMA JALAN RAYA DEPAN RUMAH SAYA BELUM DITURAP SEJAK 10 TAHUN, MAKA 10 TAHUN MAKAN HABUK DAN TIAP HARI SAPU PASIR DALAM RUMAH, MAKA SAYA AKAN SOKON DATUK JEFFRI KETINGAN SEBAGAI KETUMA MENTERI SABAH, SEKIRANYA BELIAU MENANG...SAYA MINTA JALAN RAYA BERTURAP DEPAN RUMAH SAYA..JANGAN LUPA SAYA ADA RAMAI ADIK-BERADIK SOKONG PEMBANGKANG....

  • @vdvm4lis after the scenes I witnessed today, I beg to differ. I didn't swear not use foul language. I think you've gotten it all wrong, and I don't need an "age" factor to prove that. Today people in the thousands marched for the change THEY want. So with all do respect, I will stay and fight for that change and when it happens, you can leave the country. I'm staying.

  • @W3IYAN u re too stupid to talk bout that...u're not even one of the SPR members...yet u talk too much... if u are one of them then u would know sebersih mne pilihan raye diadakan

  • @vdvm4lis you can suck my fat cock. Well done W3IYAN! You can't use foul language but I'll fucking swear as much as I want for you on YouTube at this motherfucking cunt cuz it's my RIGHT to practice my very own FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION. in YO FACE. what the fuck do you mean by "too young to speak up"? When the fuck does age have to do with speaking up? Your mom won't speak up. Go fuck yourself.

  • @vdvm4lis You should go back to hutan you uncivilized BN ass licker! Malaysia would be much better without someone like you!

  • @vdvm4lis no one is 2young to speak up, the government should be working4the benefits of its people, THAT's democracy. We don't have to be GRATEFUL just because we live in a 'peaceful' country. What is your definition of peaceful. and yes it takes time but after half a century of the same government and things ae getting worse, do you think the people can stay silent any longer? i believe half a century is more than enough. Bersih's objective is simple, clean and fair election, real democracy

  • @vdvm4lis wat does it mean to be peaceful where actually its not peaceful.. what made u thk the bersih only wnats to cover up anwars mistake... yeah its true that our country are still considered better to live in... but are we living in truth or and just ignorant to thank government for their corruption? aren't we not taking action towards that matter..how about the injustice in sabah and sarawak? are we improving or degrading... maybe u should ask urself that ur live in a world of lies

  • @vdvm4lis Perharps im the one who need to tell you that u are not matured enough to think about freedom and courage and transformation for the better of malaysia... they walking peacefully but what they got... the opposite... i dont thank the government... instead i beg them to retired adn change with new government that at least better and fight for the better of this country

  • @vdvm4lis GO and visit the Bersih wikipedia before u commented. U might be too old or too young with not enough knowledges of current situation.Did u open ur eyes to those videos of how the polis & FRU reacted to the rakyat that without any weopon or bare arm for this peace full rally? I just want to tell U that u only tipu to your own self if u still have the same thinking. search for tazkirah Sheikh Hussein Yee at UTUBE Demonstrasi BERSIH 2.0 UHY We need to maintain the peace in our country

  • @vdvm4lis wa sokong lu bro

  • agreed with weiyan! Malaysian esp the youth should stop the complains and walk the talk!

  • Totally agreed!

  • hhaha...yang banyak ikut bersih tu org melayu..yang menentang pun banyak orang melayu...yang bystanders tu bnyak orang cina.. kalo buat kecoh pun orang melayu yg rugi. ..kalo gado dngn polis tu pun org melayu yg rugi, pasal yg jadi polis tuh orang melayu....semua lebih byk mendatangkan kerugian kpd org melayu..apa sebenarnya yang org melayu yg sokong bersih perjuangkan?

  • What is the BERSIH objective?? do you think by having mess gathering and march for what you so call to fight for your right will earns your dreams come true,... What is wrong with SPR??? Do you really understand how SPR works???

Are you looking for major destruction toward our community peaceful & harmony that has been built so far??,,.. Will this so call BERSIH leader care ???

  • @up322platinum do you work at government or SPR? You don't and shut ur mouth. People don't know anything will think that the election is fair but the truth is, it is not. Go do some research and the gathering is a peaceful gathering. Objective is to unite. Seriously, go DO SOME RESEARCH.

  • BERSIH 2.0!!!!!! support!

  • this is a losing battle bro...im staying home to study french for my finals ...the government wont listen they want power so no point...but i agree in what you said..its just that this rally is gonna make situations worst

  • @TheBzzer are you saying this as a speculator or someone who has fought numerous battles before coming to that conclusion? I'm curious. If the former then all I can say is you need to experience a little more before saying so. If the latter then I would understand your frustration more, I made this video so that the young will pick up the torches of the previous generation and carry on. The sooner that happens, the closer the rakyat overall come to a common consensus.

  • @W3IYAN to be frank im just 19...i think that you should think about what your doing...i understand it is supposed to be a peaceful rally.. but it is going to turn like every other rally that has happen in the past...it all turned bad..people are getting arrested being tortured in lock ups...you ask me this question ''are you saying this as a speculator or someone who has fought numerous battles before coming to that conclusion?'' yes i am a speculator..you can say what you want about me..

  • dumb fool trying to fight for a lost cause. waste of time and energy, i doubt anything will ever change..

  • @TheCnidarians doesn't mean we can't try. I don't necessarily believe that this will completely change Malaysia on a holistic level, but it does serve other purposes.... like it keeps the fire burning, a historic anecdote that people will refer to in Malaysia's journey towards "the big change"

  • @TheCnidarians things will change bro.. but please let us be patient.. these days, firstly we need to study, that is our real commitment and promise to our parents.. score hard.. be someone important.. and then involve in politics.. Seriously guys, politics and study does not match at all. Its so ugly that no sides will look good on you..

  • what's happening on 9th of july LOL!

  • and to @w3iyan i hope you are still attending the rally. i hope your video has brought some perspective to the youth. i wish i could be there to shake your hand but ill be showing support from overseas. all the best tomorrow and i pray that it would be a safe one.

  • @yezzah I will without a doubt be there! I hope the global protests go well too! I shall post comments or maybe another video once its over. I hope got the best tomorrow. Take care, good luck and hidup rakyat!

  • there are many reasons why Bersih is relevant for a country like Malaysia.

I urge that all who appose this rally, become aware of the importance of it. Watch some videos, read some articles and clear your mindset and stop being so ignorant.

Especially to those who are part of Gerak Aman, you guys need to wake up and not let political interests affect you. Bersih is not a political party and Ambiga is not running for any elections so clear your head, wake up, read up, and stop being ignorant

  • go weiyan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! huhuhu, hey, im a malay girl k, and as far as i know there's only malaysian in malaysia.. everybody is equal, so stop being racist!!!!!!!!!!! pfttttt

keep up the gud work weiyan

  • @singingshopaholic87 Malaysia will have hope if we have more and more malays like what u think. It true.

  • Thx! I'll see u there then. :)

  • I may not be there physically but I'll be there in sprit. I do hope it does not come to violence.

  • @TheNokia90 Most civilised. It is people like you who is taking Malaysia backwards by 200 years. That's the reason I'm never coming back to Malaysia. Chinese and Indians have to realise that Malaysia is never gonna change anytime soon, it's much better to leave and I guarantee you'll find a better life elsewhere, anywhere.

  • @micger why must we run away, we are all malaysians and we should stand up for our country, i think wei yan is right and not many ppl wil have the courage to say it out right like him....

  • @TheNokia90 try la..aku nak tengok gak.. meh sini bawak parang ko.kalo bole aku nak shoot ur dick. bodoh punya melayu. memalukan kaum je.

  • @TheNokia90 AT LEAST CHINESE CAN COOK A LOT OF DIFFERENT PORK MEAL.!!!! ALL VERY DELICIOUS 1!! WANNA TRY SOME??

  • you are the man !!

  • not just Ibrahim Ali mate, Malacca's CM Ali Rustam also made such threatening speech by saying he cannot control his silat people if they want to bash up those who come for the rally. Seriously is that democracy?

  • one word...BODOH

  • @W3IYAN FUCK YOU

  • @madnazrin not thanks, I don't swing that way but thanks for the offer

  • @W3IYAN HEY BRO, MAYBE HE/SHE WOULD LIKE U TO FUCK THEM!! JUST DO IT!!! MAKE THEM SWEAT!!!

  • Ah meng, klu lu mau cari hal dalam malaysia yg aman ni, kli lu berani lu kasi potong lupunya lacau dulu la...

  • Ah meng lu cakap banyak la......., selagi lu punya bangsa tk jadi PM tk dapat memerintah ini negara selagi tu li orang melalak mcm anjing,

  • My salute to you.. we are just exercising our rights.. we already announced it will be a peaceful rally.. in fact even invite the police to route out the course.. but you know as well as many out there knows, there will be opportunists on that day to create chaos..

if they can close up the roads for a frigging marathon, i dont see why they cant do it for a peacefully rally.. i can put my good nickle that it will be the FRUs that will cause more damage in the end. I will be there too. take care

  • you manu fan. boo. :)

  • @ch13t haha, nice one. good to have some humor. actually I'm a Newcastle and MU fan :P What bout you?

  • @W3IYAN I'm Skuad Harimau Malaya fan :)

  • Aku tak nak turun. Sebab aku ada kerja. Sampah lah. Dok diam sudah.

  • promote violence...nice going.....

  • @joemakelele I doubt you've looked into the issue enough to claim that a call for free and fair elections incites violence. So far all we have seen is the government overreact on a peaceful movement while those who truly incite violence parade around free of harassment.

I've you've experienced enough of Malaysia, you would know this to be true, but clearly you are saying this with little or nothing to show for.

  • @W3IYAN are u there when thiz is happend 4 da 1st time ?? i double doubt that u were there?what is so call peaceful movement??

everything that ur leaders gon" say is"lets destroy the gov.lets change the system"

dude...where ur head gone??this is the same system that ensure our 54years of peacefulness

and all of sudden,U wanna change it?& all for what one man dreams?? sorry that for me..is retarded..

    just like the BA leaders..peace..

  • tak puas hati dgn kerjaan BN...TGGU LAA PRU 13..masa tu laaa korang nak pangkah ape yg korang nak....tak payah laaa nak join perhimpunan yg akan bakal jd hura hara di malaysia nanti.. takut jd mcm 13mei nanti,,,pru 12 dah pegang 3,4 negeri pun masih tak percaye lg dgn SPR....sape yg bodoh ni....?persatuan silat lincah malaysia pun nak ambik bahagian nak bantai korang yg join BERSIH ni...hahaha..diorang betul2 nak bersihkan korang 9julai ni,,

  • doing business on rally day? Giler ker aper? amik cuti jer la time tu.. close your kedai whatsoever and join the crowd .. Dont miss it sebab rally ni bukan tiap hari poongg.. let them express their thought on that day!

  • support ^^

  • I salute you Weiyen and to all the youngster we hv nothing to scare off bcos we are doing something for the right for us the 'rakyat'.

The current politician are playing much more dirty tricks to fool us rakyat openly..They are not afraid at all.. So be brave.. I will be there even im alone and being a female!!

  • I am a Malay but I see myself as a Malaysian first and foremost. We should be united as a people, a nation, and not segregated by race when this multi-ethnic thing we have going on should be a fabulous mix of cultures, traditions and experiences (great ones!). Everyone loves rojak! Practice what you preach in all your tourism adverts Malaysia! The very b(r)e(a)st of luck Wei. I'm sad you're not joining us this July but I know you're fighting for what you believe in. Jangan lupa gas mask kali ni.

  • @pitstophere baka

  • @pendekarmojo hey mate, to be frank I was in the midst of studying for an exam i had the next day. If I had a script it would have been done alot better I assure you.

I guess many would share the same sentiment, rallies can be a 'discomfort' for many. However Malaysia's rallies so far never turn out as peaceful as intended because instead of ensuring peace, the police often go on the offensive. This has been said alot, but its true regardless.

  • I might sound a tad skeptical here. Those who would find it a discomfort would generally be those 'better off' who aren't really affected by politics due to economic immunity. In all honesty, I admit to falling in that category. I would have better things to do on a weekend, like go make some music, go shopping and so on.

But some causes and callings are worth sacrificing weekends for. I'm not an fan of the opposition nor the BN, but fair elections ensure a form of power equilibrium what say u?

  • @W3IYAN I'm understood if you feel unease with the statement made by Ibrahim Ali. I'm also feel unease with the statement. Statement from Karpal Singh about Islam also made me unease. Looks like Anwar & Co behind all this. Why? That is the way for creating momentum for people to see him as hero. It's always Anwar's style to make hot the situation by using BERSIH like he cheat us about 16 Sept. At the end hatred among us become 4th stage cancer. I feel BERSIH is someone KOTOR agenda.

  • @W3IYAN For me negotiation is still the BEST way to achieve fair election. Negotiation will reduce influence of political parties. Negotiation in harmony situation. Demonstration only create emotional uncontrolled situation. Why? Because I see arround the world most demonstration doesn't solve problem but creating more problems even in the developed country.

  • @speezyman you have not seen enough man. Look at rally at hongkong, look at rally at us.

  • @kuihsedap I maybe haven't see enough but I see what is hidden behind this rally. People who backing this rally have it's own political interest & same also goes to the one oppose it. Nothing improve. I'm grateful with the statement with the Yang Di-pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan to stop all these. Hong Kong & US is not best example. Especially US. Prophet Muhammad S.A.W is the best example.

  • Weiyan- be steadfast- forget the crap that's being written by the cybertroopers and the ignorant.

  • @pendekarmojo have business owners considered that change - being FAIR and less corrupt (at least on the Transparency Index), brings more quality investors, more high-paying jobs, and more Spending Power? People in a certain income bracket WILL pay more for quality so you can increase your prices instead of "kais pagi makan pagi". Unless you have a noble intent to price your goods to serve migrant labor lah.

  • @pendekarmojo

if they can close up the roads for a frigging marathon, i dont see why they cant do it for a peacefully rally..

consider this, you would not even have to work to make ends meet if the government was effective enough to combat corruptions.. we were so rich in natural resources.. have you ever consider that your situation is a consequence of their ineffectiveness.?

there are so much dirty and money politics going on, i seen it...

we are just there for clean and fair election.

  • i applaud you wei yan for your bravery! thanks for speaking up on behalf of all of us who have brains that are being put into good use. will see you on the 9th! :)

  • BRILLIANT!!!!

  • bagus2 aku sokong kenyataan hang;-)jgn takut untuk membuat perubahan.

  • Glory-glory Malaysia-UNITED!

  • WEI YAN, i really appreciate ur courage,u dare to speak out what the Malaysia citizen wants!!! fuck the government and fuck the racist IBRAHIM!!!! he think that Chinese will scares of him...all of the Malaysian, don care that u are malay or chinese, let us join the BERSIH 2.0 , let the BN knows that how strong of the citizen's power!!! we really cant stand what the government had done in these 54 years!! fuck 1 Malaysia, it's fake, it doesn't work, and Najib has no do it as well!!!

  • YOU GO, WeiYan!

  • ah jib's one malaysia just a 法-king joke..

  • Although you may be a utd fan..but I'm down with you in this! Berish will go on!

  • SPR! Y U NO Bersih?

  • I wish someone brings "Y U NO" guy placards.

  • Ibrahim Ali don't understand English, bro. It's useless even if he is watching this.

  • HIDUP BERSIH!!

  • good luck! respect!

  • hhaha..2 perkasa member click dislike

  • attend for behalf of me...supporting you from Sabah

  • I felt shame because I am Malaysian and living aboard but I cannot vote when election but USA and many country government accept their people go embassy or post the vote.So I think is time to change

  • someone put malay subtitle please..i'm kampung dun understand english..

  • @sharpeyeye Salam saudaraku, sebenarnya mesejku ringkas (saya banyak cakap je).

  • weiyan, i know u from monash, while the aim seems to be pure, it is far from it my friend. u wont understand it, all u see is things like democracy and human rights and all that, good points, but u r being used by outside powers. u can fight against the govt, it is up to u but when foreign NGOs are involved, it is dangerous that is why i will never support bersih

  • @kingnek what do you mean by when foreign NGO's are involved. One doesn't need Bersih to know thats been done to and with our electoral system. You sound like one who speaks in universal terms, I am curious to ask what your experiences are and how you came to a conclusion. MY decision to protest against the Malaysian government abusing power isn't spurred by "foreign powers" nor is it upon the wishes of anyone of higher standing.

To be blunt, I think you're the one influence by 'other' powers

  • @kingnek i hope you don't take this the wrong way of course, just that i think much reviewing and research is required before coming to such a decision. Cheers.

  • Bersih is about bringing reforms to the electoral system in Malaysia. There are 8 immediate points that has been presented and they are 1. For EC to clean up and update the electoral roll. 2. Reform postal ballots. 3. Use the indelible ink so that there will be no multiple votings. (continue below)

  • @kingnek 4. Minimum 21days campaigning period. 5. Free and Fair access to the media for all political parties. 6. Strengthen public institutions so that they would act independently (as they should) without interference from government of the day. 7. Stop corruption. 8. Stop Dirty politics.

So which of these points don't u agree with?

  • THIS GUY GOT BALLS, UNLIKE THE MANY MSIANS... ALL THE BEST!!! MARCH FOR MSIA!!! HIDUP RAKYAT!!!

  • waiyan,,,too much talking...i am Chinese will go also attend the rally..hehe...

  • I agree with you, if we are not going to change now, we are not going to change anytime in the future. Malaysia is a great country to grow, it just never had the right government. Is time we do something to change...

  • You actually RESPECTED Najib at one time, Weiyan? Take off them glasses, boy, and look right into Jibby's dead-fish eyes. Tell me what you see.... NOTHING!!!! That's right, folks, your so-called prime minister is actually a Golem, a zombie, just like George W. Bush. This pink-lipped walking-talking hand-shaking automaton is just a window display lah.... ignore him, deplore him, dismantle him, shit down his throat... but whatever you do, do not respect him. Respect yourself!

  • count me in, I'll be there. I have told my ang mor boss tht I'm flying back to fight for my children and their children.

  • viva malaysian citizen weiyan

  • viva malaysian citizen weiyan

  • i'm malay, i regards everybody as malaysian, we gonna help each other on 9th of july, no malaysian should be afraid to going out this 9th of july..lets united..and you, @w3iyan is one of the coolest malaysian!!!yeah!!!

  • @bmk413 em not to disgrace anything and i certainly do not want to fight with u about anything, but this is about the malaysian people, the nation against the government body - nothing got to do with racism against the malays. as a foreigner please understand that - not all chinese are more racist than malay either

  • @bmk413 u're a foreigner yet u ask a citizen to go back to his motherland? wat a joke...

  • @chongpinlim I just found out about it too... I will be checking it out! Not too sure whether it's on the same day or how demonstrations are like abroad. Have not been to one, it's unfortunate that I may not be in the major city but I'm gonna try my best and plan it out >.< Cheers to all. While it may be a rally, lets remember and enjoy the moment!
