Saw them for the first time in 95 at a radio station concert in MI. ...They were one of many bands opening for the Cure...BTHM was the ONLY talent on the stage that night. Have been in love with them ever since.
Amazing display of Todd's guitar prowess. I know you have to keep Jimi, Stevie Ray, Clapton, and Knopfler in a league all by themselves. But Todd is right there with those guys. If anyone thinks a BHTM show is all about Bittersweet and/or Broken Hearted Savior, they've got another thing comin'!! Better get ready for some rowdy rock n roll because these guys will BRING IT!!! Love 'em. Seen them too many times to count.
Is it just me, or is no one else paying attention to the Guitar Swap during his solo that went fairly seemlessly! ;)... Give that Guitar Tech and extra ration of beer!
well I mean its a great cover, he is playing guitar in his own style, During his solo I dont recall him playing any of srv's chops, thats why he dont sound like srv or hendrix, he made it his own. But he did a great job!
Saw him do this one back in '94 in Houston (when Rockefeller's West was still open). Freaking blew the roof off of the place! Thanks for the sharing this one; this brought back some really special memories.........
Mic, Sass & Lindholm all witnessed this baddass show! Then we woke up, took in the parade and did it all over again, CHICAGO is the best city around!!
Its good and he cooks' but SRV cooked too, *with gasoline

i dunno he lacks something that srv had with this one (then again, who doesn't). still great stuff, though.

Agreed. Todd is a brilliant guitar player, saw him in Seattle and he blew the house down, but no one compares to the genius of Jimi and Stevie Ray!
