  • Sorry, but Mady Mesplé is so much better than Patrizia...

  • Listen to Sandrine Piau.

  • Wow, some real excitement here. Compared to this, most other interpretations seem timid and dull.

  • excelent... but i think the tempo is too fast... maybe a little bit slower would be more comfortable!

  • this tempo is great just for the Idea of The End of the world.

  • @manuelspcool ok but it doesnt seem to be comfortble for the singer. i dont know. I miss some more definition of the quarter notes.

  • @pslaureenha Are u serious u think she's not confortable? I mean wow, 4:16, I wish I was unconfortable doing that then!

  • @starbreez3 No, i meant musically comfortable xD She is certainly capable of singing in this tempo without losing a note, but as a listener I would rather a little bit slower... I think that Piau's tempo fits perfectly.

  • @pslaureenha

But as I said before, i still miss some definition of the notes. But I was wrong to say rthat I think she's not comfortable though. It just didn't sound comfortable to my ears!

  • @pslaureenha Oh I got it hehehehe, well this piece is not supposed to feel confortable tho! I don't know 100% what means the latin text behind it but it sounds something very angry hahaha, it's like some baroque heavy metal :P

  • @pslaureenha But yes the staccato is there but yet not so hmmm defined and clear as in Piau's version, got to agree with that.

But when it comes to emotion I think this one brings up everything, atleast for me :D

  • Bravissima patrizia ciofi!!
