The birthplace of Farsi is Balkh which is Afghanistan, great people like Mawlana Jalaludeen Mohammad Balkhi, Ibn-e Sina Balkhi were born there and rose. Another great philosopher Farabi which is know as Alfarabios in Latin was also born in Fariaab in Afghanistan.

The poem is NOT Afghan, it's only written in a language that is spoken in Afghanistan, as well as Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Bahrain, Iraq, and Kuwait, to name a few. So tell me, how is the song an Afghan poem? It has very little to do with Afghanistan itself. Don't act like a smart ass until you have correct information. Make sense?

Interestingly enough, the dialect and words and even pronounciation of this song is Dari, persian dialect ONLY spoken in Afghanistan. As far as British India (present day Pakistan goes) in case you didnt realize, more than half of Pakistan was stolen from Afghanistan. Persian spoken in many parts of the world but not in pakistan, stick to Urdu. Thx

We never have music in our gathering as its frowned upon by the elders of the community/family. Our clothes are made of a tunic/cloth vastly different to saree and salwaar kameez(this clothing has come from the Turks not Indians). As for our food its a northern cuisine with hardly any spices whereas Indian cuisine is the opposite. I don't look anything like an Indian and nor do my family. If you look before pre-1947 there was no Indian and pre 1747 there was no Afghanistan.

First of all India was formed in 1947. My ancestors have always been in Pakistan and we have nothing in common with India bar kashmir. Our culture is nothing like Indians and with your ignorant comment you try your best to associate Pashtun, Baloch and Northeners in that statement. We don't have nothing in common from our ethnically, linguistically, socially. Sorry, am I mistaken or do Iranian singers sing Afghan songs? Did Mashati not ask Shadan (afghan poet) to write 2 of her songs. Alot of my iranian friends family love Ahmad Zahir. Afghans are not dumb, we have good and bad, just like Iran. I know some pretty dumb Iranians.. but that goes for Afghans too.
