Isn't the the european 'first true move' (almost by definition) a break of the asian hi/lo? Why not go L/S at these levels either for a scalp of X points or stop/reverse for day trading? It's rare to get whipsawed more than once... at least given a decent asian range (right?)
@12aug96 I agree in principle. However sometimes the Asian could have a very wide H/L and keep you out of a trade or conversely a very narrow one and get you into one too early. The basic idea however similar. Let's follow flow with a decent 50 point stop in order to avoid unnecessary stop outs and hope that whipsaws are at a minimum. Next week I'll also address the reversal trade which is is very powerful idea in its own right
