@ScaryHauntsNation I used MOSTLY Hilti spray foam in a can from Home Depot. However, in the middle of the video you see a POV shot from the can of foam, that foam was DAP and it SUCKS big time. It NEVER solidified, it was brittle as hell. I could gouge it off just by barely brushing my hands across it. It was very crumbly. That being said it actually felt the most like skin. I'd like to experiment a little. That might be a video I'd like to try. Spray foam comparisons. Thanks for the compliment
@agent385 Oh nice! Thanks! Cuz I'm going to own a haunted house im guessing 6-8 years from now, so Its a good idea to start with definitily! And obvioulsy its nice to save money... how much do you think this all cost you? not including clothes. Also would u think the DAP foam would be good just for a skin coat then after you use the other spray?
@ScaryHauntsNation DAP is useless by itself. I'm surprised it's used in construction considering how flaky it is. After you sprayed it and after you shaped it as best you could, you might be able to coat it with liquid latex, or even latex house paint. But I bet you'd get better results with sanding the other foam. Then coating it for detail. As far as cost. My time was the most costly. Watch the videos, this took like 2 years to build. LOL!!!! No, total time is maybe 2-3 weeks of real work.
@CreativeAlloy oh ok, that makes sense. and i didnt think its expensive but im sure with applying all the coats and everything would take awhile for sure. Really nice job on it! what did u use for blood?
oh this is scary skull 3, sorry.
