I agree with you 100% but keep in mind that there are a lot of butch lesbians who claim to be FTM because they think its a fad, so people like them are giving the wrong idea about what a real transman is. And before I start getting crap from the lesbos, dont try that with me, Ive been in a 5yr relationship with a lesbian and she never respected my identity, the only thing that kept me with her was my love for her, but she showed her true colors when she realized I was correcting my body
I guess I just mean, there are a lot more lesbians who are willing to date ftms and be respectful of their identity, but ftms also have to be respectful of lesbians identities. Some lesbians don't want to lose their Lesbian identity and I would feel wrong asking them to lose it. It's not so bad if they are willing to call you their boyfriend and he and stuff, but still call themselves a lesbian. i don't see anything wrong with that because people who "don't get it" are never going to.
@dreadedsavior The fact that there are more lesbians "willing" to date ftms makes me angry. It essentially is implying that they don't view ftms as men. That's the point of what I was saying. Yeah, they don't want to lose their "lesbian identity" but that is invalidating someone's GENDER identity. It's offensive.
There are plenty of lesbians who like manly features of women. But I see what you're saying. Some lesbians like straight up lesbians (butches), so it's really how you see it. Labels ruin everything. I hated the lesbian box I was in.
@dreadedsavior Even if lesbians do like "manly features of women", that still disqualifies ftms from being in that category due to the fact that FTM = man and not woman. I do agree that labels ruin things.
