No problem. I'm a ghost box user myself. Just yesterday i took it on a walk to my girlfriends house and before i got to her door i said " you are not to enter this house with me" and i got a response saying "i agree". Just thought I'd share that :) its fascinating to me.

can i ask a question. on your next ghost box session that you record can you ask 'why are you still here?' i ask this because i've seen some of the ghost shows like ghost hunters and paranormal state and ghost adventures(the people from ghost adventures are idiots btb). i mean there was a nun who stayed at a hospital in yorktown. so why wouldn't they pass on?

@norseman43211 hi! actually, yes....a few. not particularly in this video, but i've recorded hundreds of sessions and the man who would have been my father-in-law but died before i got married, has been identified by the man who became my husband. :o) i recently learned about a death of an old friend that died in 2010 whose name started showing up mysteriously and the voice sounded familiar, about the same time of his death. i find that very interesting! thanks for asking!

@cacneaunit6 hello...no idea on how to make a ghost box from a radio phone. i've only modified radios to have them scan through the channels. and you're correct about sessions being more like a chat room....anyone can join in if they want to. for me, some that joined when i first began using the box, still respond...and new ones pop in and stay awhile, then off they go. the best results are replies to answers and hearing those that have been around for awhile. thanks!

@shanemess1 hi! yes, keep your sessions clean and respectful, and should you get cuss words, then you'll know your sessions are working cuz cuss words are not allowed by the FCC. Yeah they almost bipolar like, with my own experience... I have come to understand that these are not friendly beings, they like to play with heads and draw you in acting friendly then cuss you out, etc.

Ghost box is a true phenomena...I try it everytime I'm in need in answers, and the spirits tell me what I want to know, even if it's always the same thing. They are incredibly patient in the other side :)

So I don't have the ability to get a ghost box right now but I do have an old FM/AM radio in my basement that is able to be scanned manually and quickly. I have tried doing it a few times and I usually never get anything. One time I was able to get the name Sarah out of something but that was it or I just couldn't make anything else out in the static. Any tips for manual scanning?
@squezey1 hello! if you put into the youtube search..'.mazblondie', you'll find a video where she demonstrates how she does manual scanning on her radio. i think that would help answer your question better than my words as i've never tried scanning manually. the hacked radios are nice, but one can get good results with manual scanning as you'll be able to see in her videos. thanks!
@thefallen35100 When she first said cemmentary some of the spirits seemed to get angry though. Maybe they thought they being insulted for being dead, some just kept repeating cemmentary for some reason while someone was either looking for Anna or she was there but just not talking. There was also a lot of people asking for help like I usually hear in ghost box sessions with spirits on earth.

@GreatSteamingCatBox you actually have that right. its said the spirit energies manipulate words to put them into a response, or say words they want to convey. if a male wants to say somethang, sometimes its a female voice they grab on to, to get their point across, and vice-versa. i do have a little spirit child that speaks in his own voice, which is a very interesting phenomena! thanks again!

( Continuation ) When I used to play my AM/FM radio, and there was someone local with a CB antenna either on there roof or in there vehicle, it used to come all broken up in the same way that this "Ghost Box" does, almost as though the ghost box is having the same difficulty as the AM/FM receiver of picking up very distant voices of people who may be a few miles away using two way radios.

(First Post) I've played this particuliar "Video" through about 5 times and the "Fragments" of voices that I hear almost remind me of a "Wave" radio. In this case I'm wondering if it is "Truckers" and there "CB' radios and there "Signals" are coming in in very broken up in the "Distance". I could be "Wrong" but the fading of in and out "Signals" seem all to familiar.

@Coyena hi! the techs are those who take care of alot of different thangs, but in this case, making sure all the spirits that i opened the door to, are now back where they came from and not lingering here in my home. i mostly got names and such that i often do, but just in case someone new decided to come in, goes out! there are good guys and bad guys. i like having only my good guys sharing my space. :o)

@Lorielgreenleaf I can understand what you are saying, but the responses sometimes are so direct to the current subject it's hard to believe this is coincidence. Example the video someone posted holding up the sharpie. What would be the odds, that a random signal picked that up scanning and at that exact moment that question was asked? If that was a mere coincidence it's more bizarre and intriguing then the paranormal is.
You always got unknown names and 'Hi', 'Hello', or sometimes 'Good Bye', but no real, USEFUL sentences, nothing useful!
These are special radio machines to collecting different sounds, WHICH MAKE YOU BELIEVE IN EVP!!! But these sounds are not from ghost, these are from simply, very SIMPLY radio-broadcasts!!

@shesasivlergirl hello...theory is that the spirits can use the white noise and/or manipulate that or the words that come over the radio frequency's into words they wish to express. my favorite tool, is the voice recorder. it can capture words (EVP's) that seem to be plucked out of the air. i also use it to record ghost box sessions. thanks for your interest!
By the way, I hear EVP's from time to time coming through on my Amateur Radio (Ham Radio) transceiver! When conditions are just right, especially during an electrical storm, during certain times of the year when the ionosphere is active, I hear voices on the 6 meter band (around 50 MHz)!
Have any of you heard of, or read an excellent book on the original EVP research called 'Spiricom'? It is titled 'The Ghost of 29 Megacycles' by John Fuller, and describes the experiments of George Meek. Highly recommended and riveting!

I have that ghost meter also, and i just wanted to ask you, Has it ever went off for you? I've had it go off only ONCE, we were visiting a spirit of a young girl burried alive and it only beeped ONCE when we asked. It has never beeped snice. Or even spiked. Thanks for your time.
@LCPSquad hi kevin! yes, i've had the ghost meter respond several times. it does like my Haunted Guest Bedroom, alot. in my last video, you can hear it beeping as i was conducting a ghost box session. its also gone off at a few investigations. not always will it go up high enuff to beep and blink, but the needle will jump to different levels. hope that was helpful. thanks for watching my video.

@homelesspimps hi! in order to get the radios to scan, they must be modified. i've never sold one, only modified them for my own use. after its modified, just turn it on and see if its scanning the channels, and if so, start asking questions to see if replies are given. :o)
First ghost box session I heard was my first night with a ghost hunting group, it was awesome, the k2 meter was going off, and the emf meter steadily rose all the way up to 17. I also felt a ghost... that cold cobweb feeling... not scary at all! It was peaceful. I was happy to make contact. The psychic ghost box operator said it was a strong female presence... wish I'd had filmed it like you did here....
I honestly can't believe they put this nonsense in science and technology and get away with it... though I guess misusing technology for silly pseudoscience is still technology...

@JoGurlzStuff I wasn't very involved in the tech side of things mainly because I didn't have the money to put into it. The thing about the Ghost Box that bothers me is that we humans tend to pick out patterns we find meaningful and ignore what we don't. In "psychic" phenomenon it's like focusing on the hits while ignoring the misses. I mean no disrespect but it just seems like people are tricking themselves into believing the little sound bites are specific answers.

I just hacked my radio shack radio and turned it into a ghost box. Haven't tried it yet, but I been doing a bit more research on it, and some paranormal investigators think that this ghost box, is just a piece of crap. That people who use them, are hearing what the want to hear. What's your opinion on it? I'm just wondering is all. Is it actually worth it, or is it just a piece of crap like they say it is? ok so I bought a radio from radio shack and modified it. Well my friend and I got some very clear responses from our sessions. Well I asked what my name was and I heard my name three times from different voices. Well I'm concerned that these entities followed me home. How is the likelyhood that they follow you home and is there protection spells to protect me from them? Thanks!
@mozfreak84 hi! hearing your name like that is a good beginning! when researching the paranormal with any sort of device, doors are opened and by doing so, if an entity likes you, they can attach. i believe one should use protection. one thang to do is ask for the light of protection to surround you and keep out any dark entities. close your eyes and visualise this for yourself and anyone that may be working with you. always think positively and try not provoke anythang. hope that is helpful!
@Snowfirel hello! thats one of the nice thangs about the 12-150...there are adjustments for treble and bass. i presonally like to take just a bit off the treble, and put up just a bit of bass. this radio has very little background noise so i dun have to wrap it with foil. its very clear without it. i mostly use the AM channel. thanks for commenting and showing interest! :o)
@alienhddna this particular radio that is hacked to scan the channels, is no longer available thru radio shack. the model# 12-587, is still availabe. it has more background static and noise than the radio listened to in the video. hope that helps!

@cacneaunit6 hello...no idea on how to make a ghost box from a radio phone. i've only modified radios to have them scan through the channels. and you're correct about sessions being more like a chat room....anyone can join in if they want to. for me, some that joined when i first began using the box, still respond...and new ones pop in and stay awhile, then off they go. the best results are replies to answers and hearing those that have been around for awhile. thanks!

@shanemess1 hi! yes, keep your sessions clean and respectful, and should you get cuss words, then you'll know your sessions are working cuz cuss words are not allowed by the FCC. Ghost box is a true phenomena...I try it everytime I'm in need in answers, and the spirits tell me what I want to know, even if it's always the same thing. They are incredibly patient in the other side :)

So I don't have the ability to get a ghost box right now but I do have an old FM/AM radio in my basement that is able to be scanned manually and quickly. I have tried doing it a few times and I usually never get anything. One time I was able to get the name Sarah out of something but that was it or I just couldn't make anything else out in the static. Any tips for manual scanning?

@thefallen35100 When she first said cemmentary some of the spirits seemed to get angry though. Maybe they thought they being insulted for being dead, some just kept repeating cemmentary for some reason while someone was either looking for Anna or she was there but just not talking. There was also a lot of people asking for help like I usually hear in ghost box sessions with spirits on earth.

( Continuation ) When I used to play my AM/FM radio, and there was someone local with a CB antenna either on there roof or in there vehicle, it used to come all broken up in the same way that this "Ghost Box" does, almost as though the ghost box is having the same difficulty as the AM/FM receiver of picking up very distant voices of people who may be a few miles away using two way radios.

(First Post) I've played this particuliar "Video" through about 5 times and the "Fragments" of voices that I hear almost remind me of a "Wave" radio. In this case I'm wondering if it is "Truckers" and there "CB' radios and there "Signals" are coming in in very broken up in the "Distance". Example the video someone posted holding up the sharpie. What would be the odds, that a random signal picked that up scanning and at that exact moment that question was asked? I started to NOT believe in EVPs.
You always got unknown names and 'Hi', 'Hello', or sometimes 'Good Bye', but no real, USEFUL sentences, nothing useful!
These are special radio machines to collecting different sounds, WHICH MAKE YOU BELIEVE IN EVP!!! But these sounds are not from ghost, these are from simply, very SIMPLY radio-broadcasts!!

By the way, I hear EVP's from time to time coming through on my Amateur Radio (Ham Radio) transceiver! When conditions are just right, especially during an electrical storm, during certain times of the year when the ionosphere is active, I hear voices on the 6 meter band (around 50 MHz)!

First ghost box session I heard was my first night with a ghost hunting group, it was awesome, the k2 meter was going off, and the emf meter steadily rose all the way up to 17. I also felt a ghost... that cold cobweb feeling... not scary at all! It was peaceful. I was happy to make contact. The psychic ghost box operator said it was a strong female presence... wish I'd had filmed it like you did here....

@JoGurlzStuff I wasn't very involved in the tech side of things mainly because I didn't have the money to put into it. The thing about the Ghost Box that bothers me is that we humans tend to pick out patterns we find meaningful and ignore what we don't. In "psychic" phenomenon it's like focusing on the hits while ignoring the misses. I mean no disrespect but it just seems like people are tricking themselves into believing the little sound bites are specific answers.

I just hacked my radio shack radio and turned it into a ghost box. Haven't tried it yet, but I been doing a bit more research on it, and some paranormal investigators think that this ghost box, is just a piece of crap. That people who use them, are hearing what the want to hear. What's your opinion on it? I'm just wondering is all. Is it actually worth it, or is it just a piece of crap like they say it is? Any opinions anyone?

ok so I bought a radio from radio shack and modified it. Well my friend and I got some very clear responses from our sessions. Well I asked what my name was and I heard my name three times from different voices. Well I'm concerned that these entities followed me home. How is the likelyhood that they follow you home and is there protection spells to protect me from them? Thanks!

@mozfreak84 hi! hearing your name like that is a good beginning! when researching the paranormal with any sort of device, doors are opened and by doing so, if an entity likes you, they can attach. i believe one should use protection. one thang to do is ask for the light of protection to surround you and keep out any dark entities. close your eyes and visualise this for yourself and anyone that may be working with you. always think positively and try not provoke anythang. hope that is helpful!

Excuse me, but what kind of ghost box are you using?
You may of course sound, but all the noise that I get when I started my radio. You may of course only when they talk. How have you managed that?
Excuse me, but I'm new in ghosts and spirits. and could use some advice to get as clear sound that you get. Hard to hear when the radio scans.

@Snowfirel hello! thats one of the nice thangs about the 12-150...there are adjustments for treble and bass. i presonally like to take just a bit off the treble, and put up just a bit of bass. this radio has very little background noise so i dun have to wrap it with foil. its very clear without it. i mostly use the AM channel. thanks for commenting and showing interest! :o)

yeah, it freq hops, all you have to do is ask questions and you will interpet the responses to your liking.
i wonder if she does this about the same time everyday, and gets talk radio shows with buddy, mike and paul on the local radio.

@alienhddna this particular radio that is hacked to scan the channels, is no longer available thru radio shack. the model# 12-587, is still availabe. it has more background static and noise than the radio listened to in the video. hope that helps!
