You're right. This wasn't very hard for me. I think it took about 20 to 30 minutes to do, if that. But that's because I've studied music theory and practiced ear training for half my life so far. Not everyone has the ability to hear a piece of music and know how to play it or transpose it to a music program like Mario Paint. It was easy for Einstein to do complex algebra and some calculus in his head. Does that make it any less praiseworthy?
I agree. It's often not easy to gauge how difficult something is unless you do it yourself. There are more praiseworthy things out there that don't get as much praise simply because people don't realize how much more effort they require.
Good job on this, to be honest, I could have done this almost as easy as you... But you 1 up'ed me because for the life of me i cant figure out mario paint composer nor do i have the patience to try XD
@largefry Not to prove you wrong, not that you are, but Einstein had a rea~~~~~~~lly hard time with math, so he needed outside help for math, so making a scientific theory while having been called by his college algebra teacher as a student who barely did his work is pretty impressive.

I think it's more of entertainment and what people see and enjoy. Because personally, Paper Mario is a great memory of mine when I was like 10, and Guile's theme song is one of my favorite SF themes as well. I came across this video randomly without even thinking about Paper Mario OR Guile and it simply came across as "entertainment".

@largefry I'm on the fence of that. I CAN play things by ear but only melody parts. I'm useless when it comes to bass and most rhythm unless it's isolated.
@largefry yeah the basic melody (right hand) may be easy to do but the left hand polyphonic accompanyment or whatever is hard as hell to figure out. i dont know how anyone can downplay what you did

It's been like... 12 or so years since I last played Street Fighter II, so I vaguely remember the exact song (though it was in a higher key), but I think you did a good job here. I would suggest maybe letting it loop one time or two, or even just repeating the intro for several "measures" and fading out because it just abruptly ends. Other than that, no complaints.
