correction, at this time september was 8 years old. she was born december 25, 1998. she was almost 9, just not quite. but this is a very well put together video and i am all for what you are doing. no baby should ever go through this.

mckynzee actually suffered more injuries than shaking. her father also punched her, squeezed her abdomen until her liver ruptured and started bleeding, he broke her pinky finger, hit her on the back of the head 5 times, and broke her arm and her leg. she even died and was able to be brought back. she was 5 weeks old. she's 7 now and her father is still and will forever be a free man.

Instead of government officials spending millions of dollars on expensive trips to meetings that amount to nothing but a joy trip they should be spending millions of dollars to educate the public on the danger of shaken baby syndrome. They begin by show T.V. specials on a weekly basis. There should be classes in high school. There should be discussion of this on talk radio instead of the dribble they come out with. Any actual case that happens should be broadcast nationally.

That is SO SICK!!!! Who would shake a baby? And why? I've raised 2 of my sisters and no matter how pissed i got at them, i have never shaken them! Even though we have 5 and 10 years difference only.

Honestly, i'm from Russia, and i've never heard of such cases in my country. Only when i came here, to the US, i've noticed people talking about it . Is this one country problem only? What's wrong with you, people????

yea the baby could die from sids but when the baby get examined as to why they died, there is bruises, the brain is almost dead and that just does not happen when someone gets left alone with the baby. i dont care who you are, you have no right to shake a baby especially when it is not yours none the less someone who thought that they trusted you with the care of their child. no child deserves this and no parent should ever have to go through this at any age. it is not right. spread the work
