I gave someone who worked there a letter to give to Juliette and I heard from someone on their myspace that said they recognized my name from the letter hanging in her office, and I was SO happy. I have never been more happy than I was at that show, I think. I just wished it would go on forever. I stayed right upfront too. People tried to get in front of me a LOT and I'm 5'1" and I would say small,especially against the people trying to take my spot, but I was NOT giving up that spot.Licks Rock!

I've been a fan of hers for so long,she grabbed my hand 5 times or something, made eye contact. when I found out she has my letter posted up somewhere either in her office or somewhere where they travel,it was someone else letting me know they recognized me from my myspace name in the letter that they described that she had "posted up", so I'm not sure where she has it, but man, just the fact that she HAS it. =D
I know! I mean, seeing her is amazing enough. Being so close, but then how she just makes so much contact and connects with her audience just adds on to it. Not only does she seem to try to connect with the audience as a whole, but when she looks you in the eye, it`s not the same as any other artist I`ve ever seen, it`s like she literally is connecting with every individual there. She is so amazing!
I see her in two weeks, she comes to the Netherlands, and I'm so excited. Also now you told me about the eye contact :). That's really a show you won't forget in a second.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Juliette & The Licks. I always loved Juliette's acting, and when I heard she had a band, I was so excited. I knew she had a great voice and I knew her music would be raw and ballsy, and I was not disappointed.
I hope they come back to area sometime. I have been to a lot of concerts, a lot at bigger venues, but my favourite will always be J & The Licks at the Starlite room, I remember getting to touch her, and looking her in the eye as she sang...it was amazing.

I was there too. They did "Dirty Deeds" by AC/DC and the crowd went nuts. It was one of the top shows I've ever been to, and I've been to a LOT the past 30 years
