  • At least Jimi and Stevie have been having gigs since the day he died. May lord rest his soul.

  • The boos he got from that show were saddening. But, Mr.DB was out there in that crowd and it was a show that helped SRV get his foot in many doors.

  • hey, ec, iz he welcum in ur country?? woger??? sad, e.

  • LOVE him!.........

  • Everyone has their own opinion and rightly so, but for me Stevie Ray blows Jimi Hendrix out of the water and Claptons not close, he felt the music in his soul and it showed on his face and through his magical fingers. He left us a lot of great music to remember him by. RIP SRV

  • right up there with the best of the best of all time, since time began. we miss him.

  • Can you imagine the music he still had to play , thanks

  • When Stevie passed on that day--I thought -Oh! My God--We all were going to miss this Guy!

  • The one and only

  • If fate would have had a different course he may have been the greatest guitar player ever. That is with all do respect to Jimi, and Eric.

  • Did I hear boos from those stupid Euros?

  • God took him just so he would play for him

  • GOD BLESS THE ROCKERS

  • Un dios de la guitarra.

  • cant believe howlong our boy has been gone already.........

  • Damn... this dude could play the guitar! Oak Cliff TX baby!

  • No difference between studio and live... Love this man!!! <3

  • what did he die of?

  • @GonzalesOC Helicopter Crash

  • @route66dano A helicopter Eric Clapton was supposed to be on but, Things changed at the last minute.

  • @GhostsInMyAttic Thanks for the info, I didn't know that.

  • @GhostsInMyAttic actually, there were 4 helicopters. eric wasnt supposed to be on the same one as Stevie. one of the band members was. just sayin.................

  • @fast35053 I just read that but, The original report said EC was supposed to be on the helicopter with him, Glad he wasn't whew.

    Thanks =]

  • This may sound selfish of me..... but because he and a few other great artist died so young, we have garbage music being produced and thrown at us... Try turning on the radio today... total SHIT!!....

  • Awesome!!! That is really all you can say !

  • dear god...i let you take your pick at any pop star just one thing in return......SRV!!!

  • If you look carefully you can see that Stratocaster has the beginnings of a faint patina where it has been played............

  • fuckin legend !!!

  • i would give my legs and arms to see him live....

  • If only SRV, Johnny Cash, and Jimi hendrix were still alive today. I'd give anything to see them all in concert.

  • Awwwww yeaaaah, no dislikes :D

  • @splatcze thats cuz this guys is the best

  • don't mess with stevie's wife

  • vocals are freaking awesome to!

  • There are many talented guitarists, but it is truly a rare thing to have a style all of one's own. RIP SRV

  • @crystalcalia his style was blues it wasn't his own?..

  • @crystalcalia And to think that at that particular Montreux concert in "82 some of the crowd were actually booing him. Play it back and listen carefully. They were a totally different crowd when Stevie returned years later.

  • @mrfreetv Why where they booing him??

  • @BitchPleaseMETAL I think I read somewhere that he followed someone who played more of an acoustic set or, folk-styled music maybe, and I guess they weren't expecting him to play his brand of Blues with an electric guitar. I might be wrong but I think that's the story. Either way, other artists saw him there and it was his beginning to stardom.

  • and the world was robbed of a wonderful talent WAY too early!

  • @bradbge yeah, we have lost so many talented stars, like jimmy brown, ronnie james dio, and now, we have just gay singers like justin biebber and lady gaga

  • @mamezerox asuch dorks ,rap is crap , and rarely do i see real talent like in the day rip srv

  • @bradbge anyone interested in a 74 Fender Mustang? unplayed condition...

  • cows lay eggs, chickens make milk, squirrels produce wool, beef is made out of tons of mouse meat cooked together. In 1973 in Los Angeles a bank was robbed using a bull to smash through the vault, and a man rode the bull out with bags of money yelling "Yeeehaw", while playing a banjo riding off into the sunset. Just some random facts. Thought y'all should know.

  • @kelborn24 great story thanks bro
