dang you recorded alot of tv in the 80's and 90's ,and i thought our family was the only one! cept we paused on the commercials...thank you for posting these classic commercials!!
Ah, Ralph Macchio...the REAL Karate Kid! What's up with all of these horrible 80s remakes? I cringe every time I hear about a new one...the A-Team and Karate Kid in the same week nearly made me want to gouge my eyes out with a pencil...
Had an apple IIc. Those days most of the games I played were point and click type. Those who complain about load times now, have no clue about what a really long load time is like.
@MsStinkeye There are people not alive in the 1950s who call it the "worst period in human history" and stuff like that, so people not alive in the 1980s calling it a simpler time doesn't seem that extreme in comparison.
I remember this Wheel of Fortune promo when I was a little kid. At first, I thought that was Vanna White with a crazed male fan hitting on her on a boat, and then him dining with Vanna.
Now seeing it again, it was a contestant on the show who won that boat trip.
Lloyd Patterson was the original anchor of KRON's NewsCenter 4's Daybreak when it debuted in September of 1986 with the logo mimicking The Today Show. Lloyd would leave the station in 1992 after changes to the DayBreak show.
I dont think thats him...he had been makin movies buy then...we wont see him again until they make another revenge of the nerds or he replaces Steve on Married with Children
BTW, if anyone doesn't know at this time KRON-TV was Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune's original home from it's start until February 1992 when KRON went early prime. Both shows moved to KGO-TV where it has been ever since.
I agree with everyone's comments except Danielle

I thought I remember reading an earlier comment from you saying that you weren't even BORN in the 80s, so how can you say they were a simpler time?
Also, the word "midget" is very offensive.

THE GREAT MUPPET CAPER!!!! YEAH!!!
The best Foster Farms commercials ever were the chicken puppets always trying to make a break for it.

1. Is that Ted McGinley in the Extra Sugarfree gum commercial?
2. Where have you been. Nostalgiac commercials just aren't the same, unless they're are shown in 10 minute increments.
