It could be seen that both systems exploited the factory workers, lead to poverty and frustration among the people.
Having an extremist ideology -either left-wing or right-wing- leads to nothing in the long run.
Probably the "best" solution is an open market economy with some social aspects, like universal healthcare.
Most European states have this by now. They are the leading economies with the highest standard of living.

What I'm saying is that Lenin replaced Czar with something that was far worse than Czar.
He promised people equality but ended up killing and prisoning many more of them than Czar did. In addition, after dying he left his communist paradise in the hands of amazingly murderous uncle Stalin - who managed to wipe out about 20 million of his own people during the purges.

Your "survival of the fittest" argument is also fundamentally flawed in that you fail to address the criteria of being the "fittest". The problem with free enterprise and capitalism is "hard work is NOT a RECIPE for success, merely one POSSIBLE ingredient." I just found it ridiculous that you list all of these socialist leaders as despots, but failed to list the Tsar of Russia as one, who kept most of the country in conditions not much better than slavery. Under socialism, these people received education, jobs, etc. And the problems in the former USSR are a result of forced capitalism. They were better off before (most people, of course not all).

Why are you neglecting to mention that the Tsar ruled the country with an iron fist: there was no dissent allowed, people were routinely exiled to Siberia or shot for such things. AND the majority of people were kept/stuck in backwards agricultural lifestyles! The Tsarist régime invented the GULAG, the Soviets just gave it the current name.
