@JaJaGamers G'day mate! Thanks for your nice comment! It's a live recording. Recorded live into Garageband using the Edirol UA4FX. Then I export an MP3 file and import that into iMovie and sync it with the video - quite easy!
@GuitarKingMother grrrrrr noise???? All guitar effects are built into Garageband. I think the 2011 version has even more sounds available. Thanx 4 the comment!
@JEUXolim Thanks for the comment! The Edirol is just a device to allow you to record REAL instruments in GarageBand and other Software Studio platforms. The actual sounds come from the instrument and the effects in GarageBand.

did you use a di box or record and amp?

very nice work! I too have a white Strat and use garage band for sweet stuff such as this (check out my Sheryl Crow cover if you get the chance).
