when i farm in new haven i get those crappy white chests instead of the red ones, anyone know why its like that?

@JOHNYOWNS1 It's because of a patch. If you have the game of the year edition it's automatically like that. I find that it's just better to do the other one that he made a video of.

theres pearlesent witch is more rare then orange and there is also 2 shades of orange darker being more rare

wats item farming? im new to borderlands i jsut reached level 17 yesterday and i just got into the dahl headlands and killed skagzilla

@anson444 farming can be done in most games that involve items. basically, goto an area with alot of items that tend to be good, eg new havens red chests shown in the video, and once they are are looted you leave the area/game/level (different games different item respawns) then you rinse and repeat to get alot of good items fast. IE you don't go looking, you "farm" one spot.

in dahl headland, there are a couple red chests at lucky's. you could farm that for example

@anson444 item farming is well when you open a chest it will stay open until u save, quit, and join back in. new haven has many crates with good selling weapons so u can make easy money, i would call it reproducing weapons but i guess farming fits better

I unlocked the secret vending machine across from the original one in new haven and it turned all the good crates like what your showing into the large metal ones which i find dont hold as good loot. Know anything i can do about it?

i have an SPR50 Terrible Shotgun and it's made my Jakobs, it does 107x9 damage, I found it in the chest of The Back Door in the cave and that wa son my first playthrough, I still am on my first playthrough.

Similar to WoW? Well maybe in some kind of way but this is far more a fps than a rpg, though it mixes up both. And for the online well it's always better to have some friend you know but you can still play with random people and it's still very funny. I got it and if you like fps and rpg then it's the game for you.

thanks... watched another review and ya they said the problem with online is its trade looting system, with ninja looters just taking whatever they want. but me and 4 of my friends might get it so i should be fine.

yea you should get it and the good thing bout it is that it is co-op spilt screen offline too so you can play a two player game offline.ITS a very good game your gonna get addicted to this game because its a good game

I found my fav gun so far which is a rare orange I also have 2 pearl repeaters! but the rare orange is the combustion hell fire SMG with 207 dmg and 91 acc. and 8.3 fire rate! and a 4x firs dmg shots a fire bullet every shot! only down drawls are that it has no scope and that its only a 18 clip!~ but my assualt has 71 with 249 damage and makes up for that :) love this game but I just killed krom on my 2nd playthrough and playing solo does get a lil boring after a while!!

na the other chests have given me some good items. There is no chest that is better than another, they are all random.

They may be random, but most of the keepers that I find are in those two chests.

The other 3 inside the city but not the basement are mostly crap but I have found 1 or 2 good items.

nah your right they all are random but the chances of getting better random guns are in the red chests! but you will never see mods in a white chest as well as never get ammo or frags in the white ones either!! I get allot of revolvers from the white chests and snipers/mods from the red!

but I have like 15 orange and 5 alien and 2 pearl guns too so IDK
