  • I want to hug you o.o

  • you bet ill remember you.

  • what the hell your doi'n man lol

  • U have a nice voice.. try this song in a lower key and it will turn out so much better.. not the easiest song to sing.. gd try though.. Keep it up! Rock on!

  • :)

  • Nice try. Those high notes needs a bit of work though. Just gotta say that i totally love your vibrato. Its really awesome. Ever sung a song by Angra? You remind me of their first vocalist. Keep it up friend!

  • i like it

  • damn, your sing is doggy style :-)

  • Amazing :)

  • The Guitar-Perfect.

    The Vocals-Good,but need practising.

Keep practising and you can be a star someday :)

  • love the gutair keep praticing

  • vocals need work use ur stomach muscles, but other than that good yob =)!!

  • great man!

  • Try to sing it little lower. Your voice is annoying so high.Just a friendly advise.

  • AWESOME job man , hard to nail guitar guitar and voice , you did good !!!! Keep it up !!

  • i dont know why everyones hating on the vocals. sure it could use a bit of work but i thought it was great. its not easy singing in the same key as sebastian bach or even singing in that range at all. good job man

  • GREAT JOB! I love it! The quality of the acoustic sound is great! Keep it up! The comments slamming the vocals are total bullshit. You did great bro!

  • great guitar, dude, singing....

  • @solid300spartan

Nobody asked your advice, honest or not. Show me a video of you singing in the soprano range and then we'll see. Anybody who's heard me live knows I'm a mediocre guitarist but a good singer, even though this vocal performance was a failure.

  • @derekmok he's definately jealous of you dude. your vocals rocked!

  • @derekmok

just sing not so high... dont think it was a fail.

I hate pple who tell other pple not to try singing...

imo u did a good job at the verses.

But: This is not soprano ^^ not even counter tenor :P

  • I was in there for the first verses then when the bridge kicked in,I had had to shut'r down bra. ......You nail the mid to low range but your high notes are "needing assistance".

  • @nightrain766

    > You nail the mid to low range but your high notes are "needing assistance".

No, not "needing assistance". Can't hit them, period. It doesn't sound right in falsetto either. But I believe in taking risks. This isn't a song I'll attempt when I play a paid gig.

  • @derekmok , yeah it sounded really good, but for the high notes, dont sing through ur nose, use your head voice !! rock out!!

  • :) great job check mine out plz

  • Oh dude.... Don't pick those high notes please.. And the things will be just fine=)

  • You're having fun, enjoy yourself!

  • NO, NO, NO!!!! WHY!!? WHY!? My speakers burnt out becouse of you!!

Now i won`t be dreaming a white rat but you!!

  • From the 2nd half of your vid, your guitar playing sounded out of control... it's agressive, but in a frustrated manner. I assume it must've been from all that vocal acrobat straining.

Still, whether I get a mental middle-finger from you or not, I'd still say you should NOT SING this song. For those songs that are way too high a key, don't even try... I'm tellin' you man, some YouTube viewers are downright nasty & the more you get defensive with them, the lesser you'll progress. Peace.

  • i like your version! i've got a question, how did toy practice those high notes? S: i am a singer, and i want to learn how to pic highnotes without using falsetto s:

  • @SkejtJosef

A lot of it has to do with leaning on the right muscles. I know my voice will blow out almost instantly if I used the wrong part of my voice for those high notes.

My trick is to sing songs that I know are too high for me, like this one. I used to sing Roy Orbison's "Leah" as practice. I sounded bad at first, but after a year or so, I stopped sounding bad. I use Taylor Dayne's "Love Will Lead You Back" now to train. So when I sing songs that are lower, it's comfortable.

  • @derekmok Oh thanks alot!

  • at least you tried and uploaded your cover dude.... i like it.... sebastian will proud with fans like you.... leave that high notes to sebastian.... you've got balls....

  • Pretty Good Cover. Good Singing. Except The High Notes. I Have Trouble Hitting Those High Notes Too. :/ Damn You Sebastian Bach. Ha. :P

  • I thought it was a good cover, it's a bit out of your range, but deffinatley a great attempt. That's a really nice twelve string by the way :)

  • I've finished musical school and I do think you have great voice but, you rly should try to sing a little lower or with such high notes you can spoil your vocal cords... you rly should try to sing songs with "low" lyrics it'll fit your voice and will sound great!

  • lmfao

  • is there a vox amplifier in the left corner i see ?

great played by the way :)

  • Nice m8! Keep rocking! Awesome song!

  • éé bonzinho

  • whats up with the high voice shit the rest is good but that i mean put your style into damn

  • Watch the version of Erik Gronwall....

  • well, this only proves that there can only be one one Sebastien Bach.. nice try though..

  • @Rajbhandari88

    Nope, won't argue with that.

  • actually matt fallon was the one who was the lead singer when this song came out

  • GREAT! ^^

  • best one ive heard so far lol

  • beautiful guitar playing but you need a singer... the lower register is good for you but the higher notes are out of your range.

  • great!!!!!!!!

  • Difficult song to sing, nice job.

  • Great voice! :)

  • frankly it's out of your vocal range as you sound only with your nose when reach to the high note, tune down bro, check my vid

  • @TheStunningThing

I got no problem admitting that I can't sing in 20-year-old Sebastian Bach's range. But "frankly", you should take care of all your flat notes first, since you sing flat even when it's a melody squarely in the comfortable range of a male singer.

  • @derekmok well, I should have posted real one instead of 'that' chilling thing, I'd like to say that singing on right key is important though, I understand what u mean , however as u acceptped that u can't sing it nicely , not accurately, on the original key of the song, we r not like a machine, we do not have to nor need to get reach that high note, it's just children playing when they are getting rock kids, good job though, definitely this song is one of the hardest to sing it well

  • he sounds like a chinese merchant

  • The verse sound awesome , you got a great voice and as for me its to hard for me to sing the refrain with such a high pitch , do a cover of Secondhand Serenade - Fall for you , That would fit your voice i think :)! you're awesome on guitar by the way

  • your guitar sounds awesome..

  • You can play the song (which by the way is a three chord gord song) but you sound like a chipmunk on roids and you look like Cher after she hasn't shaved for a month....Oh thank god for youtube and people like you.......

  • @Nadleh

Are you sure you want to come onto other people's channels just to display your inability to count?

  • great singing....but horrible treble!!! Play that in E

  • This is a great song and you have some talent. Just watched your cover of Heartbreak Station, too. Thanks for sharing.

mentira minha? Ouça "I Remember You" ao vivo e tire suas dúvidas!

    o-O

  • tune to your voice, bro. you got skills on your fingers and lungs. its just not your key for your voice. no ill will ur way, i just feel you since ive been there. ive re-keyed tunes to sing to chicks that match my voice. do it. you got good vibrato and tone. ur just more a tenor or bass. a sebastianbach u'll nvr be. soz man. its all good, just dont try to sound like him since hes got the pipes for those tones. falsetto shiz is so 80's anyways.

    GL man!

    G

  • @obamunism1

    > falsetto shiz is so 80's anyways.

That's your opinion. You're entitled, but this is precisely why modern singers suck so hard -- they have people like you running their mouth off, telling them "don't do this" and "don't do that". Just auto-tune everything, I suppose? I'll use falsetto any time I feel like.

No, I don't have Sebastian Bach's range. But I'd rather challenge myself and fail, than stay safe as milk all the time.

  • @derekmok dude! i used to sound just like you, and one of my friends who's an amazing singer told me to practice singing from the back of my throat. almost like youre yawning. it should help your tone. anyway, nice try and keep it up!

  • @derekmok I agree with you a little. but you are wrong about the modern singers sucking hard because of someone helping them. They suck because they have no talent Which you have you just need to show it in your range, And you seem to have i do what ever the fuck i want Addatude and that dosent work with what your doing. So stop being a dick to people that are trying to help you to be a better singer yes i said this is the best one i heard because all the others suck very bad and yours is about

  • @derekmok about a 5 on a scale on 1-10 keep it up though

  • wow!

you had that Sebastian Bach-like voice!

    great cover. :-)

  • hey man great cover! I would like an advice from you..How can I train my "falsetto voice"?

  • @rmep1975

I think the first thing any singer should work on is expression. Don't worry about pitch, projection and technique yet. Get engaged in the song, find what it means to you, and just sing, sing, sing. Techniques are a matter of taste (some people don't like my vibrato), but if you are full of confidence and expression, people will listen. It's the same with falsetto -- if you know what you want to say with your singing, you'll be fine.

  • WOW your voice sometimes sounds exactly like sebastian bach!!

  • nice one i didn't even attempt those high notes, anyway great that you gave them a good try!!=]

  • Great!!!!! I was looking for this!!!

  • cool cool i like ur voice =]

  • hey are you drunk

  • Hey, im the one one who response the skidrow video to yours. You did a good job, i wish you could play guitar for me cuz i sing but i can't play guitar so......... lol.... And i understand when you say its your Achilles heels. I have the same problem with few song as well.

  • good guitar, not so good voice for the song

  • lol dont take the piss guys ffs LOL the guys sounds like hes taking a shit at times

  • bloody hard u needed to be born a girl then u can sing it easy lol

  • Hey man. Have you ever heard the Sebastain Back Band do this song acoustic. If you play it that way you won't have to strain your voice so much. Not bad, but it's damn hard to sing Sebastain. A little off on the high notes, but hats off to trying to sing one of the hardest (vocal) songs of the hair metal genre.

  • you may want to wear your hair up...

    well, you sing well though

  • hi derek! your tones on the verses sounded great!

'twas a bit pitchy up in the high register to be honest but overall i think this sounded good!

i like your voice a lot!

    keep 'em coming.

  • This song is one of my Achilles' heels. It rests right at that threshold between the high edge of my real voice and my falsetto. I've sung higher and I've sung lower, but this song always gets me but good.
